A true gem in Gerlos, one of the warmest and most charming 4star hotels we have stayed with a great austrian cuisine.
Hotel Glockenstuhl is an absolute gem and without doubt one of the nicest, warmest and most atmospheric Austrian hotels we have stayed in over the last few years.
The location is excellent: about 300 metres on foot from the Isskogelbahn, almost next to the valley run when there is enough snow in the village, only around 75 metres further downhill on foot. It is also perfectly central, with the Spar supermarket just across the road, CinCin only a few minutes away, and the Turbo Bar within very easy walking distance.
But what really makes this hotel special is not just the location — it is the hotel itself and, above all, its incredibly hospitable owners, the Eberl family. They make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. There is a warmth and authenticity here that is hard to find.
The hotel has around 42 beds, a spacious restaurant, and a beautiful traditional and at the and time modern Austrian bar and interior. It feels cosy and intimate, yet still fresh and stylish. The wellness area in the basement is lovely, with a very nice sauna area and a beautiful bath. There is also a great ski room, a sunny and inviting terrace, and comfortable bedrooms with pleasant balconies and very good beds.
The food deserves a special mention as well. The Austrian cuisine is excellent, and the half-board offering is truly fantastic. Every meal felt generous, well prepared and full of character.
Prices are not cheap, but absolutely fair — and certainly not more expensive than comparable hotels nearby. In our view, the value for money is very good, especially for a boutique-style four-star hotel in Gerlos.
All in all, Hotel Glockenstuhl is one of the very best and most ‘’gezellig places we have stayed in in Austria. Stylish, authentic, comfortable and run by wonderful people. We would happily return.

Great place, highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Glockenstuhl in Gerlos and felt welcome from the very first moment.
The hosts are incredibly warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to make guests feel at home. A lovely touch was that they even translated the menu into our native language for us — something we truly appreciated.
The food was excellent every day, the hotel is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has a very cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a day on the slopes. The pool and sauna area are fantastic and perfect for unwinding.
The location is also ideal for skiers: the lifts are within easy walking distance, and you can practically ski back to the hotel — it’s only about 100 meters from the slope.
All in all, a great experience. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gerlos.

a week with friends for our summer holidays in this beautiful little hotel where the guest is king of arrival until Check-out
the rooms are very clean and of a correct size ,the meals are very good and hearty as well as breakfast
the pool super beautiful despite the size a little just when there are many people, space well being very well also

Family hotel at the Isskogel cable car
We were there over New Year's Eve with our children and grandchildren - friendly welcome, you can tell that children are welcome. Extra dishes from the children's menu are available at any time. The hotel is within walking distance of the Isskogel cable car to the ski area; sauna and pool are a bit small. Overall a pleasant family hotel where the boss and grandma cook.

Fantastic!
We were at the Hotel Glockenstuhl for the second time this year in July, and because it was so excellent we went back in September. Everything was just perfect! The team, the rooms, the food, and also the fact that we were accepted with our dog even though she is a huge piece - *laughs*. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Christine and Johannes, their family and team for the two great stays that they made possible for us. It's always great with you, and we'll definitely see each other again!
