Best value - amazing stay in Gros Morne!

I stayed here with my boyfriend during our trip to Gros Morne and we had the greatest time! Our room had a door that opened up to a wrap around porch which was super convenient. We felt very at home here with the overall cozy atmosphere. Our room was well equipped with a fridge, coffee/tea, and bathrobes!!! We loveddddd the hot tub in the cedar room downstairs and the infrared sauna!!! I was grateful to have access to laundry as well. The whole place was really clean and you can tell the owners have good taste in artwork!
The location is awesome. It's right there as soon as you enter Norris Point and we could walk down to the local pub, and walk up to this awesome walking trail that gave us views of Bonne Bay! The best part overall was definitely the restaurant. I'm vegan and the option they had for me was delicious!!! The owner also recommended an excellent wine pairing. The wine list they have is really impressive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I really look forward to coming back here!!!

Great option, with good dining onsite

Spacious, clean room, with multiple chairs. Fluffy towels, good water pressure. Good Kleenex and toilet paper. Clothesline in bathroom. Laundry free to use. Sauna and hot tub in basement (hot tub was broken when we were there). Fridge and bathrobes (no slippers) in room. Our room had a patio with chairs and separate entrance which was nice. Decent lighting in room. Plenty of plugs. Good number of hangers in closet. King suite had a private entrance, with access to (communal) porch and chairs to sit on which was nice. No issues with housekeeping. Decent hot breakfast, which you had to choose the day before. Good restaurant on site (see seperate review). Cons: Could use more light in shower. Unfortunately could hear people walking around above us, and using the stairs while trying to sleep. Could use a coat rack or hooks on wall to hang our coats outside the closet. Could use blinds in addition to curtains to allow light in with privacy. The bathroom needs a night light, it was very dark at night. Decor feels dated (90s).

A gem in Gros Morne

We had a great experience at this hotel. We stayed here for three nights, had a decent sized room that faced the front, and a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts in the morning were fantastic and the perfect start to a day of Gros Morne exploring. Our last evening we came back, did laundry (free!) and explored the hot tub and sauna. Amazing! The people were beyond nice and the location was great. Highly recommend.

Good Choice!!

The room was fine as was the service. They provide a washing machine and dryer for use by their guests which we took advantage of. The breakfast that is included was very good and we ate their for dinner twice and that was also very good. The location is between the two sections of Gros Morne and worked for us.

Newfoundland Delight

When going to Gros Morne Park or being in the vicinity, the Sugar Hill Inn is the place to stay. The accommodations are exemplary due to the comfort of the rooms as well as the amenities provided by the inn for the quests not to mention the friendliness of the staff. The breakfasts served are wholesome, delicious and substantial. Dinner at their restaurant, Chanterelles, is a delight. Overall, the Sugar Hill Inn is a traveler's dream.
