It is a good hotel for the price in C/P

The hotel is very new, the room space is good, the service is also good, there is no casino area, the interior shopping mall and food street is small, there is breakfast included - Angel coffee, Tango ice cream room is convenient on the first floor, the hotel location is a bit on the side, to take the shuttle to the airport or to the Golden Light Boulevard and other areas, all need to walk to the neighboring upper-Portugal ride, just for the price and breakfast convenience, individuals consider it a good hotel.

Humiliating Experience

Dear Guest Relations Team of Lisboeta Macau,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unacceptable and humiliating experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel.
During my stay, I politely asked the front desk to provide a wake-up call service. My request was refused. Instead of assisting me with a basic hotel service, the front desk staff told me to set an alarm by myself.
This response was inappropriate, dismissive, and entirely unacceptable for a hotel operating at a five-star standard. A wake-up call is a basic and standard hospitality service. I was not making an unusual, excessive, or unreasonable request. I was simply asking your hotel to perform a basic guest service that should reasonably be expected from a hotel of this level.
What makes this incident even more concerning is that I seriously suspect I may have been treated differently because I spoke Mandarin Chinese at the front desk, despite the fact that I am a multilingual Canadian guest. I request that your hotel investigate whether differential treatment was involved in the way my request was handled.
As a 28-year-old independent adult woman, I did not check into a five-star hotel in order to be lectured by front desk staff on how to set my own alarm. The way I was treated made me feel disrespected, dismissed, and humiliated. It is not the role of hotel staff to educate guests in a condescending manner when they are requesting a basic service.
Attached please find my hotel confirmation, which is provided in both Chinese and English for your reference.
I require a formal written apology from your hotel. Alternatively, if your hotel believes there is a more appropriate resolution, I expect the hotel manager to contact me directly and propose a concrete solution.
Please also provide a clear explanation regarding:
Why my wake-up call request was refused;
Whether the staff member’s conduct complied with your hotel’s service standards;
Whether your hotel has investigated the possibility of differential treatment;
What corrective action will be taken to prevent this from happening to future guests.
For a hotel of your claimed standard, this level of service is deeply disappointing. I expect this complaint to be escalated to management and handled formally, not dismissed as a minor service issue.
I look forward to receiving your written response.
Sincerely,
Selina Cui

Extremely disappointing service experience at Angela’s Café – Lisboa Macao

I rarely write negative reviews, but the experience my family and I had at Angela’s Café & Lounge in Lisboa Macao on February 9, 2026 was deeply disappointing.
We were having breakfast at the restaurant that morning. As we were travelling with three elderly family members (70+), I politely asked a staff member whether the kitchen could provide some cooked leafy vegetables, as eating raw salad early in the morning can be difficult for them.
This was a very simple and reasonable request, especially because the restaurant had provided cooked vegetables on a previous morning during our stay.
However, when another staff member (later identified as staff B) came to speak with us, the situation quickly escalated. Before even understanding the situation clearly, his attitude was already impatient and confrontational.
When I tried to explain the request, his tone became increasingly aggressive. The conversation eventually moved outside the restaurant area, where his voice was raised to the level of an argument rather than a normal service interaction.
What shocked me most was that when I told him I intended to file a complaint about his service attitude, he responded dismissively with words equivalent to “Do whatever you want.”
Such a response shows complete disregard for a guest’s right to raise a complaint.
Eventually another staff member stepped in and resolved the situation.
After I filed a complaint through the Macao Consumer Council, the hotel responded by characterizing the incident as merely a “communication issue” and offered a 500 MOP dining voucher, which I consider far from a sincere resolution.
For a hotel that positions itself as a premium hospitality brand, this level of service professionalism and the way the incident was later described are extremely disappointing.
I hope the management of Lisboa Macao takes guest feedback more seriously in the future and ensures proper staff training, especially when dealing with reasonable requests from guests travelling with elderly family members.
