Top-class hospitality
Nice and nice place, with nice renovated apartments. Pool area with quiet surroundings, reasonably close to 2 delicious beaches, one with “love bench” - close to shopping and dining

OK for a night
We liked: Very friendly owners, great swimming pool and a courtyard with a small children playground, toys and swimming equipment at guests' disposal.
Bakery next door, shop across the street. Wifi worked well. Mosquito nets on windows.
We didn't like:
Poorly equiped kitchen (no water jar, only a few kitchen utensils, totaly blunt knives, no bowl for salat or alike), some of the dishes were dirty.
Room nr. 2 had an awful sewage smell that we later found out, comes from a sink that doesn't have siphon.
We booked a 2 bedroom appartment in the upper floor. When you enter the apartment, you get into the kitchen and straight out on the terrace. The terrace is then the "common area" from where you enter each room separately. It was quite strange arrangement for us because we were traveling with small kids and didn’t want to leave them alone in the room in case they woke up at night and wander on the terrace (= balcony @ 2nd floor) by themselves.
Noise from the main road.
We would choose another accomodation should we decide to visit Sukosan again.

You get what you pay for!
The travel site I book with and post reviews - on a regular basis has strangely not added my review.
All reviews were positive and the negative point not viewable - Why?
I booked this apartment based on 9 point review, positive comment and low cost. Genuinely thought I was getting a bargain as it was out of season.
We asked for low floor, my husband had a foot injury - we were sent to 3rd floor - no lift and think only one other apartment was occupied!
The photographs do no reflect the property - clever photography.
The hot tub is not free as suggested just need to pay €20
No sight of the promised washing machine etc
Very basic accommodation, the rear ‘Spa’ is like one would have at home.
Not that it was an issue for me but the raised children’s pkay area, without any fence/rails is a safety concern
Only stayed one night then moved to an hotel

lovely place to stay
The apartment was very clean and tidy , we had room only so wasnt expecting alot but was pleased that we had a fridge ,kettle, coffee maker, utensils, and a hair dryer.
Leona the owner is very friendly and helpful .
the apartment is within a short walk to the restuarants and bars and the beach.
there is a supermarket over the road and a bakery at the front of the hotel .
the apartment as a swimming pool which is heated and you have the use of the bbq
I would stay at this apartment again.

Good value
Sukosan is a cosy village with narrow streets and several restaurant. It' s also cheaper there than i Zadar. The apartment was in walking distance from both the town (200m)and the beach(500m). There was a street nearby with heavy traffic at daytime but that didn't bother us since we either were by the pool in the quiet garden, by the beach or elsewhere exploring the area. The managers were very polite and helpful and arranged taxitransports, boattrip tickets, carrental etc for us. A good bargain especially if you have kids since they have a little pool.
