Beautiful place in Tversted / North Jutland

At Hotel Tannishus there are good facilities with a minigolf and tennis court, a playground, a swimming pool and always good served. Hotel Tannishus also has a lovely restaurant with good food at reasonable prices and music events. There are good hiking trails in the area in the dunes and by the sea, the most beautiful walk we got. Tannisby also has several flea stores, always worth a visit.

Don't waste your money!

I travel a lot and am used to "local customs," but this is absurd. No breakfast one day (we were given a wretched tray of rolls and liver paste with instant coffee), lousy breakfast the next day--the museli had chocolate in it and the coffee (not espresso) was poor, bacon almost inedible. The room: we took a 2 bedroom suite. The second bedroom was large enough to fit a bunk bed and turn around. TINY. Bunk beds? The view: only a very few rooms see the ocean and then it's over a parking lot. Restaurant: total failure.
So, overall, a very, very bad experience--don't waste your money!

Super go experience with whisky/rom tasting and go food.

Much more can be done

Positive things: location of the hotel and room which is a small apartment
Negative things: the room is not made on arrival... there are sheets and duvet covers and you have to make the room yourself, it is a rather sad prefab and the rooms overlook a single corridor: the single corridor bed
There are no blackout curtains and there is no view at all even if it is advertised
The reception is not always open and when you book you are not given any indication to take the keys if there is no one at the reception So it is a bit complicated to be able to find someone to give you directions
