Disappointing and cold "dead"

Hotel rather well located on the banks of the Loire with proper reception. On the other hand the rooms, a cata especially those of the 3rd! In a pestilential smell of sewage. New room and there a cold frog with a cold ventilation mouth (it is -2° degree outside) directly on the bed.... Ten minutes before we get hot water in the shower... But it's cold in every room on the third floor.
I advise the owner to sleep one night in each room in summer in winter to see what is wrong.

Although a nice adequate room and the hotel beautifully placed next to the bridge over the river after a long day on the bike the noise levels around the property were very loud with what appeared to be boy racers speeding over the bridge all through the night ( not the hotels fault)

Wish Hotels.com would tell you what you’ve booked, I had thought I had a river view but apparently not. The hotel has no lift and a lot of stairs if you are on the top. The room was very basic. It was hot so the provided fan was on constant. Parking isn’t that easy and had to scour back roads. Great location for Blois however which is lovely.

To flee !!

The room was not prepared for our arrival I think, tons of dust under the bed (being allergic thank you at night ), the mirrors and windows with traces and also small dust, the toilet rolls were on our provision, but an empty roll Was hanging on the toilet paper holder, cobwebs.. no remote control for the TV (small detail but which is annoying), on the sheets unidentifiable stains as well as several hairs found, a sheet I was just laying on the bed with a small duvet without a cover.
In addition, a nice surprise when opening the window. A SYRINGE to use was placed there.

Great location, rooms dowdy and avoid the "continental breakfast!

Paid 39eu plus 8.50 for breakfast. Cheaper than £42 booking.com price. Room very basic but good location by bridge. Room faces grim car park to rear. Breakfast very poor..
Rooms very run down and basic. Mattress is a foam mat noy mattress so very hot but sheets clean and microfibre topper.
The continental breakfast didn't even include muesli, only nasty sugar coated choco / cornflakes not worth 8.50 eu. I had to go to the nearby supermarket to buy a breakfast after paying. Machine coffee was ok. Would advise to avoid the breakfast. I only stayed one night.. Great location, hotel however needs managing..
