The rooms we booked were very clean but showing signs of wear and tear
The shower tray in one room had a large crack across the base, so we all used the one in the 2nd room we had booked
We specifically asked for ground floor when we booked ( a good 6 months prior ) but still ended up on the first floor. This proved challenging for one of our party who had mobility issues and there is no lift in the hotel.
Location wise it suits our needs, but it is clearly in need of some updates
We may need to look elsewhere next year if unable to guarantee ground floor rooms

Avoid!
During my stay, I was the victim of a proven bodily injury during breakfast: the presence of a foreign object (stone) in a loaf led to the immediate fracture of a tooth, noted and documented.
This type of incident unambiguously engages the responsibility of the establishment in fulfilling its food safety obligation.
Despite this, the hotel management and the Accor group tried to avoid their obligations by invoking their supplier. This argument is legally inoperative: the trader who makes the product available to the final consumer assumes full responsibility for it, regardless of its supply chain.
In view of the nature of the damage, a complete file was compiled (findings, material elements retained, estimate and medical report). A declaration has been submitted to the competent insurance companies and the necessary steps are being taken to obtain full compensation for the damage suffered.
It is also envisaged, depending on the follow-up given, to refer the case to the competent courts and alert the authorities concerned about food safety.
I therefore strongly advise against this establishment, both for the seriousness of the incident and for the particularly flawed and legally questionable management that has been made of it.
