I can’t recommend Le Chamois d’Or highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, every part of my stay exceeded my expectations.
The warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Every member of staff was kind, attentive and sincerely invested in making sure I had a wonderful stay. The level of personal service is something you rarely experience anymore…it felt thoughtful, effortless, and completely genuine.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with charming Alpine character, comfortable rooms and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc that are simply unforgettable. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The food was exceptional. Each meal was beautifully prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients and every breakfast and dinner was something to look forward to. The dining experience alone is worth the visit.
What truly sets Le Chamois d’Or apart is the feeling it gives you. It’s not just a hotel…it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. The staff create an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and personal, making it incredibly difficult to leave.
Thank you to everyone at Le Chamois d’Or for such an unforgettable stay. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like part of the family. I will absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable experience in the French Alps.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, well positioned to drive to everywhere covered by the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski pass. A true Alpine experience.

Great hosts, small family run boutique hotel. The service is excellent. Bathrooms newly renovated and were fantastic! Loved the smaller more local feel to this little ski town, so cosy and quaint and especially great for kids and those new to skiing. Not many great restaurants in the area though so would advise making the drive to Sallanches.

This local friendly hotel was perfect for a long weekend ski getaway. Shuttle bus was 15mins to Dandry ski slopes and another 15mins drive to Combloux.
Amazing bedroom view of mountains and Mont Blanc.
Friendly staff, especially the main host, Caroline, who helped attend to every ask and was always working extra hard.
Food in the restaurant was excellent and I don't want to know how much bread I ate on this trip, thanks for a great stay!
