Very unpleasant surprise
I went with my pregnant wife once there he told me that he forgot my reservation and that he gave my rooms.
But rest assured he sent me and booked another hotel but surprise 70€ instead of 50€ and especially unhealthy without toilet or shower so not really great for a pregnant woman and so we had to go home the weekend was over 5h go 5h back in the day. I definitely do not recommend incompetent and unkind personal.

Unfortunate experience!
It was always a pleasure for us to stop at this Pension when we were visiting our son in Thonon about 20 years ago and we wanted to repeat the experience this month. I think nothing had moved for 20 years, no investment, beds 140, an outdated bathroom, a limit cleanliness, etc. Besides very few customers since the receptionist offers us breakfast from 8 o'clock (not before???) in the middle of the week. The first room proposed had not been made! The Receptionist is kind but not enough, our Love for this Pension is broken and as soon as we return we chose another one which for the same Award offers a completely different service.

Very good friendly hotel
Excellent small, friendly hotel, very good value for money, lovely welcome, very well located (12 minutes walk from the city center, small Casino opposite for food, possibility of free parking in the adjacent streets).

Bad experience
The photos on the internet are beautiful but our room was horrible. Maybe because we had the dog but that's not correct. Dirty bathroom, dirty and ruined carpet. Surrendered and old and broken chairs. Strong musty smell. Poor breakfast. The proximity to the historic center is useful but I would have preferred another hotel
