Dreadful experience; avoid at all costs

This review concerns the room known as “The Studio.” It is located on the bottom floor of the house, but it feels more like a basement!
Upon arrival, we waited outside the gate for ten minutes, speaking into an old intercom. Eventually, an elderly woman came to open the gate. The room is accessed via two sliding doors, one of which was so filthy you couldn’t see through it. The room itself was dark, dingy and had a strong smell of mould.. The double bed was as hard as a rock, and the sheets felt damp. There was no wardrobe, only a cupboard that was full of stuff and it didn’t contain any coat hangers.
The room was cluttered with old furniture and full of hazards, such as trailing wires. The kitchen area was outdated, and the bathroom was unfit for purpose: the shower had a very high (and dangerous) step to get in (especially slippery when wet) and was an old hand-held attachment on the wall. There was no bath.
Other guests had to walk in front of the room to access the outdoor swimming pool. There was cleaning equipment left at the bottom of the pool, which posed another hazard.
Additionally, the owner’s dog, which was allowed to run around unsupervised, constantly followed us around, come into the room and harassed our legs (that’s a polite way of putting it…)
We weren’t prepared to go five days without a shower, so we decided to leave after just the first night. This was a considerable inconvenience for us, as we had to quickly find alternative accommodation, resulting in a financial loss. We were, of course, not offered any kind of refund.

Disappointed

Very nice cottage but hostess not pleasant at all! I walked all morning arrived at 12:30 instead of 5:00 to make me say you saw the hour!!!!!! I open at 5 pm!!!!! No hello nothing so disappointed

Beautiful house, well located

2 steps from the center of figeac.
Next to a public and free parking where you still have to find a place.
A beautiful house, with a slightly old decoration held by a lady of a certain age who knows how to be charming when she wants.
Enter through a side door.

Great ⭐️⭐️⭐️ to do again taking more time to visit the area.

Excellent stage after 5 hours drive. A charming Welcoming with a concern to best suit our current concerns. Namely inform us about the evening stage of the peculiarities of Figeac and address of good tables in Figeac since the city center is immediate. In addition we benefited from the pool to do some relaxing swims after our car ride. More than pleasant divine! The super hearty breakfasts. Good products, jam, tea, croissants of quality and fresh, with a hostess knowing how to inform us with strength details, kindness and sympathy. So we picked up this address 2 weeks later for our return to our native Brittany. Always at the top of relaxation and tourist Welcoming we thank our hostess and will not fail to send her alms or iron during another descent in the south.
