Really nice place with a very nice garden with a petanque court and a cosy vibe. The hotel really lives up to its name.
The beach is super close by. Very friendly staff. Also free parking. We plan to come back for a longer stay in the future. Merci!

Too loud, too close to the main road ☹️
The good things first
very nice and clean room..
BUT the location...
At check-in we were asked if we wanted to add breakfast, we declined and the host's tone changed significantly for the worse..it became snappy and unfriendly...
The hotel is located directly on the main road,
there is constant noise and exhaust fumes!!!☹️☹️
Furthermore, day and night,
crowds of people walk by the hotel
and it is very loud..
Relaxation impossible....you do get a parking space on the premises
but it is tiny and dangerous...

And in the night when we stayed overnight
a group of teenagers moved
at least 20 to 30 people
past the hotel room...
the noise they were making was deafening... unbearable...
never again this hotel...

Lovely room, close to beach, very friendly hosts . Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Fréjus area

However,
The hotel is quite pleasant for a stay; the rooms are not very large but are very clean and nice. The hotel courtyard itself is superb. It feels like being in vintage Provence. The breakfast is very good, and the breakfast room is very beautiful. The decor is all very nice. The lady's welcome is exceptional. She is very pleasant. A major downside is the gentleman who is quite authoritarian, a bit intrusive, and rather aggressive. I really do not think this gentleman is suited to run a hotel, in fact. And there is very good service in the Garden, which serves good platters to eat and is very kind as well. As mentioned before, everything is perfect for me in this establishment, except for the gentleman.

Overly attentive hosting - very small rooms
In many ways, this is a nice place to stay in Saint-Aygulf. It's close to everything – although that is true pretty much everywhere in this small seaside town – and the rooms are located at garden level. Or courtyard level, as was the case for us. Outside each room is a small table and chairs that guests can use, for example, to have lunch.
However, as we learned, this is apparently the only place on the "hotel" where that is allowed. What functions as the breakfast area in the morning suddenly becomes part of the restaurant later in the day, even though the restaurant itself is located in the adjoining courtyard. We were actually asked to leave with our baguette and tomatoes after we had sat down in the shade there. There wasn't a single customer in the restaurant, and there was a clear separation between the restaurant, the bar, and the courtyard.
A little later, we noticed that our small drying rack with wet beach towels had been rather pointedly moved closer to our room, despite being placed well within what felt like "our" two square metres of outdoor space.
At breakfast, the host couple circulate constantly, keeping an eye on everything – including, it seemed, exactly who is taking what from the minimalistic buffet.
That last observation may be unfair, but I am so unaccustomed to being monitored and told off as an adult that it gradually began to feel less like a hotel and more like a B&B where we were staying at the hosts' discretion.
The rooms are incredibly small, and the bathroom is equally cramped. On top of that, the bathroom was simply not cleaned to an acceptable standard: the waste bins and the cabinet legs were dirty, and there was an inexplicably strong smell coming from the drain.
We genuinely believe that the couple are trying to create a personal and welcoming experience, and that their actions stem from that intention. However, they should perhaps remember that their guests are paying customers and that they have chosen to describe their establishment as a hotel.
