Immerse yourself in old times
The rooms have a “nostalgic touch” for me. It all reminded me of previous outings in my youth.
The bathroom was simple but clean, which I can also say about the rest of the room. The bed could be a bit wider, but quite sufficient. The staff at the hotel super friendly and the kitchen of the house is very tasty.

Lovely hotel (plenty of rooms), in walking distance from the railway station
Stayed here for one night. The taxi driver at the railway station had recommended this hotel. There had been an emergency on the train to Prague, which left me and a travel party from Malaysia stranded in the beautifful town of Cham, in the middle of the night, after the last train had left the station.
Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful to everyone. The room was spacious and well-heated on this ice-cold February night. The breakfast buffet was well-appointed.
I recommend this hotel also for larger groups and longer stays. Seems a great place to have a business conference for several days. Excursions into the Bavarian Mountains ... and even to the "Golden City" of Prague (only a ~2 hour train ride away, 8 daily connections on "Alex" train) ... are in easy reach.
This hotel is a family business run by people who really care.

Unexpected pleasure
This hotel is situated on a little island on the approach to the lovely Bavarian town of Cham. It is clean, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are really friendly. My room and I think most rooms have a balcony, although the view from them is not good, which are pleasant to relax on and read in the warm summer sun. The restaurant/bar supplies good wholesome Bavarian food - the schweineschnitzel and curry wurst I tried were really good. A great stop if touring Bavaria.

Not the Greatest
Cham is a beautiful place. No doubt there. Unfortunately this hotel isn’t the best all round. It is more of a motel style, with the rooms feeling like college dorms, uncomfortable beds, and they’re short. Food was OK.

Alleen als je niets anders kunt vinden...
Het hotel is slecht gelegen ten opzichte van het plaatsje Cham.
Het is niet echt een hotel te noemen, maar een vergaderlocatie voor seminars of zoiets,
met kamers.
Het gebrek aan onderhoud, of zeg maar plezier om er het beste van te maken, ontbreekt.
De kamer die wij kregen aangewezen, nummer 18, had een lekkende kraan.
De deuren en de wanden wilde je niet aanraken.
Twee bedden met vermoeide matrassen.
De atmosfeer in de kamer ging zwaar van wanhoop en verdriet.
Voor deze kamer rekenden wij 95 euro af, wel inclusief een uiterst eenvoudig ontbijt.
Vriendelijke bediening.
