Quiet hotel, mainly operates as a rehabilitation facility.
I stayed four nights in this hotel and had a renovated twin room for single use.
You receive a solid value for your money.
I was able to sleep peacefully. I would like to highlight the responsible chef for the main lunch meal. Two of the four soups fascinated me, as did every lunch.
In the evenings, I would have wished for at least something warm every other day instead of just bread with cold cuts, cheese, and salad.
The paths in the hotel are long if you also want to use the sauna or the exercise pool, as well as during check-in and check-out.
My exact rating is 3.5 stars.

Rehab was rather disappointing
Unfortunately, I can only recommend my stay in rehab to a limited extent.
The cleanliness throughout the house left much to be desired, which is very disappointing especially in a medical facility. For rehabilitation patients after knee surgery, I also think the clinic is not very suitable, as there is a small step between my room and bathroom – this is unnecessarily aggravating in everyday life and, in my view, not patient-friendly.
The applications also looked rather sparse overall and sometimes outdated. In addition, these were not noticeably increased in the course of rehab, which in my view impaired the success of therapy. Strength training is virtually nonexistent. Access to the gym is only possible with one treatment. The motivation of some physiotherapists also left something to be desired, which did not always make me feel optimally looked after.
Conclusion:
Overall, the quality of rehab does not meet my expectations. I can therefore not make a recommendation, especially for patients after knee surgery. The only positive thing for me was the food, this actually corresponds to a 4 star house, we were spoiled culinary.

If a doctor is necessary, never again Krumbad
Medical care a disaster
After knee prostheses surgery 3 weeks rehab in Krumbad. Treatment of a large blister on the heel, which occurred the day before the start of the treatment, (presumably caused by compression stockings necessary after surgery) was not adequately treated. The bladder was cut open and the skin removed. Healing is not yet complete after 6 weeks, the operating doctor banged his hands together over his head when he learned about this measure.

Rehab was a bust
extremely unsuitable for hip and knee patients, steep cobblestone path to the upper house, with crutches quite dangerous, applications for patients outdated, extremely uncoordinated in time, ice packs to get every evening are scant or not available at all, access to the gym is not given, unless you have an application there, applications are not increased, it always remains the same, training for strength is virtually never there, rooms are uncomfortable, between the applications, which are quite sparse anyway is far too much idling, and the caretaker is a really unsympathetic person, should I need rehab again I will most certainly not go there anymore

Never again
Part 1: my first impression after I arrived, old historical building (former monastery), cobblestones everywhere, if you want to go to the reception to the "upper house" you have to accept a decent climb (however you can also take a variant through the house). Whether this is the right place for knee and hip surgery, who walk here with crutches and assistants is up to question. During my stay we had a fall prevention training on what to put in your home or redesign, such as grab bars on toilet and shower, move carpets out of the way.......
All well and good, some rooms were actually equipped with it, but only the renovated ones and the ones are outnumbered and are mostly given naturally to hotel guests. For example, I had to climb over 1 step into the bathroom and another step into the shower cubicle and then hold on to the shower rod. One option would have been to make do with a shower chair, of course, but then I wouldn't have closed the shower doors and flooded the bathroom every time. My conclusion (and confirmed in conversation with many fellow sufferers who just don’t dare to leave a review here) is that the grounds and equipment are in no way suitable for these patients. More for a psychosomatic clinic, beautiful surroundings with forest and meadows.
