Cannot recommend this apart-hotel enough

Had a wonderful five days at this Hotel in which you get given an apartment. Everything has been thought of in decoration, nick-nacks, books TV kitchen equipment , wardrobes and anything else you can think of! The view from the balcony was great and the staff were very friendly. Excellent pool and sauna. The food was brilliant and of local tradition and we has as much wine beer and soft drinks between 7pm and 10pm. Lovely walks around too.Could do with a lounge thiough

Do not go here

The staff are terrible here very dirty place do not sleep eat or visit here. The only thing you will get is a good view we visited and the waitress was awful we saw even a mouse run past it was very dirty.

Fantastic hotel

Location is really stunning and the facilities are great. The apartment was spacious with stunning balcony views of The Valley. The pool is small but clean and all staff are friendly and keen to please. This is a place we wish we had booked for longer to take advantage of the activities in the woodlands. The restaurant was good, in the evening and for breakfast. The only reason we can’t rate it as 5 stars was the confusion over breakfast. As the booking with Expedia was not clear, we twice asked the receptionist to double check breakfast was included in the price and twice she confirmed it was. Unfortunately, on checking out she then asked us to pay for breakfast and completely denied the previous conversations. This seems a strange way to treat guests and left a somewhat sour taste with an otherwise faultless stay.

Nice quite place for good value

I was surprised by the specious rooms, well equipped kitchen and a nice view. Kids loved the swimming pool and IR sauna and the normal sauna was also very nice. A little cons could be the missing wifi (it is in the lobby, pool, restaurant but not in the rooms) in combination with almost no 3G/LTE coverage could be a pain for someone.

Shelagh and Colin Catchpole's First Visit to Haus Bayerwald

We have recently stayed in this hotel and we were very impressed. When we first opened the door of the room and walked inside I said "Wow" We had an apartment which was furnished really nicely with everything you could wish for. The balcony faced south so you could do a little sunbathing if you wished.
The restaurant was bright and sunny and the food was excellent and plenty of it too. Free wine and beer from 7pm to 10pm which was a nice touch, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We would certainly recommend this hotel.
