The privately run Haus Rehlein provides rooms, holiday flats, and holiday homes located beside a forest in Schierke. The guest house offers a shared garden with barbecue area, a continental breakfast every day, and direct access to hiking routes. The different types of accommodation at Haus Rehlein come with satellite TV. Guests are welcome to use the sauna in the neighbouring hotel, or relax in the Rehleins sunbathing area. The Haus Rehlein is ideal for day trips to the famous Brocken Mountain, in the Harz National Park. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Please inform Haus Rehlein in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please note that there is no front desk. The keys are stored in a key collection box. Tolles gemütliches, uriges Zimmer

Dieses Haus bietet alles, was man zum Urlaub braucht. Alle auf den Buchungsportalen angegebenen Leistungen werden in guter Qualität angeboten. Zusätzliches gibt es Möglichkeiten, im Garten gemütlich zu sitzen und ggf. auch zu grillen. Die Zimmer-Einrichtung hat den urgemütlichen Charme der 80er Jahre. Für diverse negative Einträge in Buchungsportalen haben wir gar kein Verständnis. Wer eine Ferienwohnung zu einem günstigen Preis mietet, darf keinen 5-Sterne-Hotelservice erwarten. Wir haben es alles in allem sehr genossen und würden gerne wiederkommen..

Breakfast won't rip it out either.

First, it's still being renovated. We had unfortunately got an old room which still needs to be completely renovated. Old furniture and a rug I would rather not talk about...I would have ripped it out first & laid vinyl flooring in case of necessity, it does not cost the world & looks better. The room was unfortunately down in the corridor where everyone went long and you heard every word & every step. For a room cleaning you should have told, so you can make it easy.
The breakfast was ok & for everyone something there but now also not breathtaking as most describe it here. The whole bottles on the table alone I didn't like, you can also make in carafes. Unfortunately there is only someone on site in the morning & I would have liked to have had a tea but there was no kettle in the room, let alone a glass at all.
The area is quiet and ok for hikers. There is a restaurant opposite where you could eat in the evening but a bar somewhere unfortunately not.
Little tip maybe offer you something to eat & drink in the evening, we would have been happy about that.
Whether we even come here again, that shows...

Warning, warnung, waarschuwing!

Nog nooit hebben we ergens geslapen waar we zo vreselijk bot, onvriendelijk en zelfs agressief behandeld werden.
Het huisje is ouderwets, de eigenaar is echt gruwelijk. Hij lijkt wel een hekel aan mensen te hebben. Overal hangen ook papiertjes met wat allemaal niet mag en dergelijke. Ook loopt hij op blote voeten door het huis, met vieze voeten.
We hebben er thuis hard om gelachen, omdat het te bizar voor woorden was hoe deze man deed.

Unmöglich....!

....Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Fernesehnutzung sollte heutzutage im Preis enthalten sein. Die Unterkunft ist sicherlich in die Jahre gekommen, der Wirt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, sauber aber war es. Eine Rolle Klopapier musste reichen.
Fazit: Nie wieder!!!!!

Extrem unfreundlicher Vermieter, sehr unangenehmer, befehlshaberischer Ton, nicht zu empfehlen!

Extrem unfreundlicher Vermieter, behandelt Gäste wie kleine Kinder. Überall im Haus Verbotsschilder. Allerdings ein super-Frühstück, nur dafür gibt es einen Punkt. Das Zimmer geräumig, das Bad im Keller dafür extrem beengt. Wlan kostenpflichtig - wie auch alle anderen "Extras" (Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Kühlschrank, Grill, Notbeleuchtung etc.) Auf Nachfrage, ob der Weg hinterm Haus als Wanderweg geeignet sei, kam nur die Antwort, hier gebe es viele Wege. Definitiv nicht empfehlenswert.
