Dreamlike turn of the year
Our evaluation of the Leeberghof is as follows.
We spent the New Year's Eve holidays at the hotel with the family and our good friend and are completely enthusiastic about the Leeberghof.
Let's start at the front, check-in smoothly and here it already showed what friendly atmosphere we will expect in this house.
The staff at the reception was super nice and helpful as by the way the entire staff at the hotel, all people there in a good mood and attentive, sincere thanks to the entire team of Leeberghof.
The boss himself Mr. Rabl, radiates a very great sovereignty and tranquility that is transferred to the guest, just a great person.
The Leeberghof is located above Lake Tegernsee with an indescribably magnificent view over the lake and Rottach-Egern.
The hotel itself is not particularly large but a real gem on Lake Tegernsee.
We were there over New Year's Eve and spent an unforgettable turn of the year.
The motto was, a culinary journey through different countries of the world and it was a fascinating menu that we were allowed to experience, with a taste unparalleled.
The rooms in our case the Schmöcker suite was spacious with a large bathroom with tub separate toilet and a great view of Lake Tegernsee.
The rooms are clean and in very good condition.
Everything we found was totally lovingly decorated and nothing was missing.
Breakfast was in the dining room again overlooking the lake and there was everything your heart desires.
If you had special requests these were also implemented just great.
We would like to thank the Rabl family and his team for this great and unforgettable start to the new year.
We will be happy to come back and wish you all the best love and good, keep up the good work.

Dirty shabby room
Dirty shabby room. Restaurant excellent. Dust in the 45 meters lux rooms for the price 370 euro. No spa and bazen. Restaurant served only outside, despite of weather. Manager refused to serve the table inside, despite of asking for the reason that guests were I'll. And it's in the coronavirus period.

Friendly place with a great view and delicious food
I recently went to stay 2 nights at this hotel for friends' wedding. It is a great place with an awesome view over the Tegernsee, with a nice bar. Staff has been super friendly during our whole stay, whether it was at the bar on Thursday after we arrived, on Friday during breakfast or the reception and party in the evening or on Saturday when we had to leave. Everyone was friendly and funny, making you feel welcome and comfortable (staying in a hotel). The room we shared (3 of us in a big room, i.e. 2 rooms) felt Bavarian to us Northerners, we liked it very much, it had a truly phantastic view and all of us slept very well all nights. Breakfast was what you would expect, the buffet was small and did not contain everything I would have expected (but I stay in too many hotel anyway), however you could order all the egg dishes and other food from a menu (no extra charge) which would be served freshly made. The only thing I was missing was a good muesli with milk or yoghurt. The food at the wedding reception and the party after was absolutely delicious! In particular the starter (salmon cooked/prepared in 3 different ways), but also of course main and dessert. A friend had a vegetarian menu which looked delicious as well and even produced (without any reason as ours was so good) a bit of food envy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Best view hotel with great food
The hotel is very nice with the perfect view,
We experienced with very warm welcome.
The room is fine and comfortable. We had lunch there and all food are great especially the dessert; Kaiserschmarn.
Definitely we will be back.

A must hotel to visit
This is a wonderful hotel.
Perched just above Tegernsee but with the town easily accessible via a 15 minute walk through the woods, or 5 mins by car, the views are stunning.
Meals on an outside Terrace; theSassa Bar
which is perfect for a nightcap overlooking the lights of the the Tegernsee, all add to the charm, tranquility and peace of the hotel’s location.
The food is amazing, creative and delicious using local Bavarian products.
The owner is a hands-on, personal attention hotelier, who even drove us to the train station.
If you going to Tegernsee - such an easy travel from Munich, The Hotel Leeberghof
is the place to stay
