Haus St. Joseph is situated in Waldsassen, within 90 metres of Waldsassen Abbey and 3.9 km of Kappl. The property is around 10 km from Sommerrodelbahn, 12 km from Zámek Starý Hrozňatov and 12 km from Starý Hrozňatov. The hotel has family rooms.

Souls Wellness...anytime again.
First of all, great respect for the performance of the Abbess and the Convention. A facility that has opened, has been modernly rebuilt and maintains and maintains tradition. For the guests everything is well thought out and practically presented. Restaurant, reception, monastery shop are close together. All, without exception all employees were friendly and devoted.
Also, if digital detox is not supposed to be harmful;-) there is a super working WLAN. The beds are good, the water comes out of the shower very hot.
Breakfast is varied and in parts regional and organic.
The package also includes dinner and coffee and cake. We were very pleased.
We know the missing TV from other monasteries. Here, it is worthwhile to reflect on peace and quiet. You can attend the services and vespers of the sisters. The tour of the library was great, despite renovation. Guided tour recommended. We are full of praise and recommend the house to those who engage in something else.
The area is great for hiking and cycling.

I'll be back.
We had 7 days the pleasure of the excellent Service to enjoy the warm Welcoming at the House of St. Joseph.
Everything very clean, the rooms friendly and very well equipped.
The cuisine is super good, the beer and wine selection more than sufficient.

Nice, friendly with unfortunately misleading, deceptive pricing policy
Nice stay with bitter aftertaste.
I was very enthusiastic at first, especially about the cheerfulness of the employees - up to the point of payment.
The brochures "Arrangements 2025" displayed in the hotel motivated me to book one on site. Unfortunately, I was not informed by the receptionist that this arrangement is over 40 euros (!) more expensive than stated in the brochure (not exactly little money for a single guest at 2 nights)!
In M.E. these arrangement prices are a great deception and misdirection of guests! This is all the more annoying because I experienced the staff as very friendly. What a shame!

A Habit to Cherish
We had the immense pleasure of the hospitality of the Cistersian Sisters of the, Haus St. Joseph in the Kloster Waldsassen.
We stayed 4 days and felt so at home that we did not want to leave. Everything that was advertised was delivered and more. The breakfast was all inclusive, cereal, dried and fresh fruit as well as apples and bananas to go. Yogurt, plain and fruit flavored. Cheese and deli meat of all sorts. Home made jam and fresh rolls both whole wheat and light. Plenty of everything. Coffee, tea of all sorts and Fresh OJ.
We thought we might want to eat out side of the convent but when we ate our first dinner there we enjoyed the food and service and ambiance so much we looked forward to the chef's special every night.
The cuisine was wonderful and plentiful. Especially the mushroom soup, which was a favorite.
All of this was made even more special by the service of Nadine, Melanie and Jurgen the all around wait staff, who made sure we were supremely comfortable and satisfied. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable.
Make sure to visit the world renowned library, stunning and filled with history. There are many little shops and great walking opportunities around the area and the porcelain road is a short distance away.
Internet is included in the room rate as is breakfast. Parking also included. Wifi in the lobby and wired DSL in your room. We will surely be back. A five star experience in every way.

Rust en Weldaad
Eigenlijk weet ik niet te beginnen. Alles was zo perfect. Ik verbleef er 8 dagen waarvan de eerste 3, niet verder kwam dan 100 meter van het Huis verwijderd. De rust, de service, de atmosfeer het werkte op mij, als een magneet. De kamers, het ontbijt, de verzorging, alles compleet goed. Nadat ik thuis was dacht ik vaak hoe en waar ik in het huis was op bepaalde momenten. Er zijn reeds 2 boekingen vastgelegd in de loop van het jaar. De treinreis kost me 9 uren treinen, maar ik heb het er graag voor over. Een top goed management.
