Wonderful

Cleanliness, quietness, comfortable bed, air conditioning, towels, impeccable bedding, personal hygiene items. Room equipped with refrigerator, kettle, personal hygiene items. The room key could be collected before the scheduled check-in time, from a box for which I had received the code via email. Excellent! Wonderful view! Free parking! There was a space, related to room no. 4, where you could have a meal, but it was unfurnished, as if it was under construction. It was not very pleasant. The road to the location was terrible. Waze took us through some extremely narrow streets. Panos Hause is located in Kastrákion, about 3 miles from Varlaam Monastery and 3.1 miles from Megalo Meteoro Monastery. The property is 3.1 miles from Meteora, a 19-minute walk from Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas and 2 miles from Roussanou Monastery.

Room with a View!

We were looking for somewhere in Kastraki...we've visited Meteora many times but never stayed a night and felt Kastraki had more atmosphere than Kalambaka. Panos House appealed as it is surrounded by the magical stone pillars of Meteora. We met no owner or staff but all communications were swift and helpful. After parking in the roomy private carpark alongside, we used the coded key box and we were inside. There are 4 rooms...we had the 2 front rooms and actually had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms are small (no space for sidetables and bedside lamps by the double beds) but just fine for a short stay. Bathrooms also small but clean and bright. Loads of extras (not just the usual soap and shampoo but also a toothbrush set , an electric jug, choices of coffee and tea.) Good wi-fi. A big plus was the veranda in the front with table, chairs and a swing seat...perfect to watch the sun go down with an evening drink, surrounded by the looming grey stones! The square with its many tavernas is a walk downhill of about 15 minutes (a bit longer on the return!) I would recommend the place definitely. Very reasonably priced too.

Με βραστηρα, καφε, τσαι, γαλατακια και ζαχαρη!
Στο μπανιο σετ οδοντοβουρτσα-οδοντοπαστα και μπατονετες!
Πιστολάκι και σιδερο!
Το κορυφαιο?? .. Netflix!
Οτι καλύτερο!!!

emplacement idéal pour les Météores

très bien placé pour visiter les météores mais faites le choix d'une chambre plus grande car la notre était minuscule. Mais tout était parfait avec tout ce qu'il faut dans les moindres détails, j'y retournerai certainement. Un grand avantage : le parking pour garer sa voiture

A due passi dal cielo

Bel posto a due passi dalle meteore e dal centro del paesino, vicino a ristoranti e taverne.
Da qui si raggiungono facilmente le meteore.
Posto pulito e ordinato , biancherie impeccabile , 30€ in coppia per una notte insieme al nostro piccolo amico a quattro zampe e Rocky . Qualità prezzo assolutamente consigliato !
