Amazing place to stay in Santorini! Fantastic view, right in the middle of the old part of Oia and steps away from shops and restaurants. Wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend!

My forever happy place when in Oia Santorini.
What a magical place. A little gem in the very heart of Oia. The location is fantastic, the staff warm, very approachable, service-oriented and charming. The rooms are super cozy, comfortable and with a 180° sea view that leaves you speechless. Santorini is definitely worth a visit for the hotel alone. Many thanks to Faye, Dimitris and Giannis that make every stay (for over 8 years now) unforgettable. Hector Cave House is my forever happy place and there is a reason why they are always quite booked from start to finish of the season.

Avoid Avoid Avoid
We booked and paid for 3 nights in the Luxury Cave
Manager Faye put us in the Nest which is approx half the price of the Luxury Cave
After the first night I asked to be moved to our correct room but she had sold our room to someone else
She said it was an honest mistake and I understand we all make mistakes
She then said she would ring her Boss to discuss the matter
She made the phone call in front of us and immediately offered us the first two nights complimentary
We accepted this to compensate for their mistake and all the time wasted including moving room
A few hours later Faye changed her mind and only wanted to compensate 1 nights accommodation
She also asked us to cancel the reservation so she did not have to pay commission to the booking site
The barrage of WhatsApp messages was ridiculous
Including her wanting to meet with us at 10pm on Saturday night when my husband and I were just getting back from dinner
This unpleasant situation really detracted from our Oia stay
If you want to enjoy your holiday avoid this unprofessional operator

3 unforgettable days
Short stay but extraordinary experience!
A big thank you to Faye for organizing the stay, the good advice and Dimitris for carrying luggage (he happily carries them in the middle of all tourists!)
The apartment is clean, well equipped and comfortable.
Located 2 steps from the main points of interest of Oia, certainly you can not see the sunset from the terrace but the view is beautiful.
I'm doing it all over again.

A haven amongst the chaos!
Hector Cave House was the perfect peaceful haven, amongst the crazy busy streets of Santorini. The house had everything we needed, the plunge pool was perfect and the whole outdoor area really made the stay! Great location in Oia, every direction you look the view is stunning. Faye was so helpful with recommendations and helping us arrange transfers etc, and thank you also to Dimitris for helping us with our luggage. This place is a special gem, 100% would recommend!
