Apartment in a lovely neighbourhood

Amazing apartment in a lovely neighbourhood. a few meters from the apartment there’s 3 or 4 local restaurants and up the road you’ll find a bakery where you’ll grab a fresh fresh or pretzel in the morning. Apartment is pretty cosy - there’s one king size bed which is very comfortable and one smaller bed as well as sofa. I liked the taste of decorations - it has some fell of imperfection, but with a taste so interior is definitely not a blatant ikea room. If you are planning a short stay or long term one this apartment will suite your needs.

Lovely rooms but lacking useful detail.

First visit: Room 7 is fabulous but there was no mirror, the shower sprayed water everywhere and the holder for the shower gel gives way as soon as you press the bottle top. Nowhere to put your suitcase other than on the floor. No shelves to put toiletries. There was no spare blanket and it was unusually cold our first night (we were supplied with one when we asked the next day). You can’t drink the tap water, according to the host, but we had to ask for extra bottles for our second day. It’s a lovely room and very spacious with a big king size bed. There is a shared balcony off the landing which we sat at for breakfast. The road outside has few cars but is very noisy as it’s on a steep hill so the cars have to rev the engines.
Second visit: Room 2 is a double with plenty of shelf space and a great shower. However, we didn’t have any water glasses and when we asked if we could borrow a couple for plates from the kitchen we were told they weren’t clean… Randomly, were given complimentary toothbrushes which we didn’t get in the bigger room. Because it opens onto the courtyard, this room doesn’t feel very private, especially as the host and his friends were settled in there for the afternoon, chatting, eating and drinking. It was the weekend, but it felt like we were intruding. The courtyard also exacerbates the noise from the road and restaurants nearby.
The place is excellent value for money, but makes it hard to eat in the room if you are on a budget. A kettle and basic crockery would have made a big difference.
We loved the location away from the bars and busy streets of the centre but with enough restaurants and shops nearby. There was no tourist information such as a map. The host booked a couple of taxis for us, which was helpful.
