Not worth the long journey

I was recommended to go there for local seafood, but I had not anticipated how disappointing it would be. King crab legs and salmon are not exactly local, so I ordered crab cakes to start and Asian-style prawns to follow, except the prawns arrived first and the crab cakes later. I love crab cakes normally, but they were the worst ever. There were two in the portion, I only ate one as they were so poor with little discernible crab in them. The prawns were quite tasty, but I don't think that they were local. Then there was a row over the bill, to which they had added 14% VAT and 10% service, and then wanted to charge me 5% for using a credit card, but we eventually won that argument.

Seriously lacking customer service

I stayed at the Caribbean Inn for 2 weeks through my work. I changed rooms 3 times due to faulty air con systems.
I killed multiple cockroaches throughout the fortnight.
The food is OK, but anything other than chicken is not what you expect in the west. The beef is full of fat and either still has a pulse or like rubber. Trust me I tried all of it over 2 weeks. The breakfast is eggs toast and frankfurter every day. Nothing more, no options, that's it. Get what you are given. When the omelette was served - don't ask for a second one because you get told no!
The customer service is the main problem, some bar staff are friendly but some are so rude and miserable that it is uncomfortable. You sit waiting at the bar or a table for ages and nobody comes to see if you want anything, all are too busy sitting on mobile phones.
When you call them over to ask for something it seems a massive inconvenience and you are met with hostility and a lot of teeth sucking. Some of the staff clearly hate their jobs and should be removed if they want to improve the overall experience.
The front of house staff are friendly enough but as I was there for more than 1 or 2 nights I needed to use the laundry service. 3 days went by until I got my laundry done. People take a note of your request but then do nothing with it. There is no system, you just have to complain a lot to get something unfortunately.
The fact that you have to request housekeeping and towels is a bit strange also.
I had no choice to stay here through work but I would not pay for this hotel out of my own pocket that's for sure.

Horrible service food terrible no sauce no server to request nothing

Had 4 person at a table. Main course order and appetizer placed was told can’t order from bar due to bartender step out not sure if he will return and no other staff can’t pour or mix.
45 mins later two main came no appetizer. 30 mins later appetizer came still
Waiting on 3rd main course. . Server decide they can pour a drink for 1 shot Bombay gin. Finally 3rd main came. Request bill
Was billed $69 us for 1 shot. 35 mins awaiting for them to change bill !!!

A terrible experience

The staff at the Caribbean Inn charged me one day extra by error. They made every excuse not to process the refunds. Please do not stay at the Caribbean Inn. The front desk staff is horrible to deal with. They are rude and do not care about customers.

BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY.THEY ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR ROOMS THEY DON'T HAVE AVAILABLE. THEN THEY IGNORE CALLS AND EMAILS. I MADE A RESERVATION ON EXPEDIA, THEN CALLED THEM TO CONFIRM RESERVATION, THEY KEEP PROMISING TO EMAIL AND CALL ME BACK, NEVER DID. OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED THAT THEY SHOW UP AT THE PROPERTY AND BEEN TOLD THEY DONT HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE
