Hot Chocci
We have been coming here for over 6 years now. Love the white hot chocolate and milkshakes. Great to sit outside in all seasons and watch the world go by. On a quaint cobbled street under the castle. Highly recommended. Friendly staff too
Inside is oldy woldy and cosey. Cakes are slightly dry though

awesome place at fantastic location for travellers on a budget
Perfect location, in the heart of the historic downtown. Lovely, English speaking staff who are eager to help with any request, when we couldn't find a public laundry or laundry service, the owner lady wanted to take our washing to her own home to take care of it. In the end we found a laundry service open, they are rare in Hungary..
Breakfast was plentiful and great, continental with bread rolls, meats, cheeses, fresh salad vegetables and Túró Rudi!!! Yum! It was always brought up to our room with the best coffee I've had in Hungary!
The apartment was roomy and comfortable. Yeah, it needs a little TLC but we did not care.
The only thing I was missing was air conditioning, in the middle of the hot summer it would have been great.
Breakfast was plentiful and great, continental with bread rolls, meats, cheeses, fresh salad vegetables and Túró Rudi!!! Yum! It was always brought up to our room with the best coffee I've had in Hungary!

Very nice place; great value for money!
The breakfast was very generous and brought upstairs for us! The reception man was so nice and understanding when we asked for a vegetarian breakfast!
The shower felt a small bit exposed and could do with a curtain as the water splashes out everywhere! Other than that it was amazing value for money, great place!

Very nice place
Very nice place with amazing and wonderful service. Perfectly situated – just in the center of the Old Town. In surrounding there are some very good restaurants. The rooms need some renovation; in spite of it I recommend it.

Wonderful place!
After the hustle and bustle of Budapest we chose to have a day and night in a small town. Eger was the perfect respite, and Afrodite was a great place to stay. We had 2 apartments, for 4 people, and they were spacious,clean, well-equipped and had good showers. Our windows opened on to the quaint little street that was filled with cute shops. It is basically right in the center of town with plenty of places to eat and browse around. Right next to Eger Castle, and with private parking right down the street, this is a great location. We knew breakfast was included with the reasonable rates but were very pleasantly surprised when they delivered a beautiful platter of tasty treats to our room.....that was a real luxury to be able to eat in our pjs and not have to rush down to a breakfast room. I strongly recommend this little gem in the heart of Eger.
