Mid budget and Royal vibes with sapcious rooms
This hotel is beautifully designed, aesthetically pleasing, n extremely photogenic in every corner. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, and elegantly styled the cozy sit out space with a big window and the private balcony perfect for relaxing n soaking in the vibes.This Hotels architecture to its ambiance, everything reflects royal desert charm with mid range budget located at close to major tourist attraction.
They have rooftop restaurant n we can have a breathtaking view of Jaisalmer Fort. U can watch beautiful sunrise n sunset from this hotel. food is very tasty... service is gud and staff r very friendly...
One of the most unforgettable experiences was hearing the morning prayer and patriotic assembly from the school next door. Being in a border city like Jaisalmer and listening to children sing patriotic songs filled us with immense pride and goosebumps. Watching it from the rooftop is a soul stirring moment that deeply connects you to the spirit of Rajasthan and the nation absolutely unmissable.
Our girls’ gang had an amazing, We had an absolutely incredible stay at Hotel Dev Ghar. truly one of the most memorable parts of our Rajasthan trip.
D only suggestion would be adding a lift. Construction was ongoing during our stay, so it’s better to check before booking.

In a hotel under construction...
A symbol of Jaisalmer’s unbridled development, Dev Garh is located in an entirely new area of the city 1.4 km from the fort. This area is mainly dedicated to the construction of new hotels whose construction is more or less complete. This is the case of the Dev Garh which we are told that the floors are being renovated for the feast of Divali while they are simply in work ... de facto, only the 1st and maybe 2nd floors are available. It is feared that the new parts will already be out of order before all the work is completed. The hotel will prove to be empty of guests during our stay.. Rickshaw needed to explore the city; airport 6 km; railway station 2 km.
In addition to the remarks made above on the state of the building itself...it should be remembered that the rooms available are quite comfortable with a large bathroom, a façade balcony respecting the architectural criteria rajpoutes (beautiful desert yellow stone façade). Little or no ancillary services except lunch included in an average price of 45 E per night to 2. There is therefore a small surreal side to staying in an establishment under construction with the works that this implies (but the night shift stops the hammerings quite early in the evening;-).

Very pleasant
I stayed with my mother at Hotel Devgarh for 3 days during early Jan 2026. I had a very pleasant experience. The room was very spacious and clean with heater available and all other amenities. Location is calm and peaceful. Staffs were very polite and so was the Manager and Owner of the hotel. Very friendly and polite. I would like to thank staff Mr. Lakshman who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Usually, I don't get any good flavor in food in hotels and restaurants. But the food here was delicious. Overall, I felt comfortable and at home. Thank you very much.
