Unique experience

I was at the Baita for 4 days at the end of August on the occasion of the rally of Sardegna mtb. I had a great time, the room was equipped with all the comforts, the breakfast was great, with the inevitable presence of typical local desserts. In the front garden you can relax in complete tranquility and enjoy a magnificent view. The owners were very kind and helpful to all my requests. Definitely will return as soon as the opportunity for a short holiday arises.

La Baita is a fabulous experience! Host friendly and present as if it were a relative ♥️ .. fabulous location soundproof and quaint. Really so clean and tidy. Breakfast from 5 star hotel. I highly recommend if you pass for aritzo

Weekend with friends

Rustic structure surrounded by greenery, clean environments and bathrooms equipped with all comforts (towels, telephone, bubble bath and shampoo). Abundant breakfast with homemade products including various jams, desserts, yogurt, biscuits. The owner was very kind, friendly and welcoming.

lovely town but in off season not much happening

Aritzo is lovely, but when we went in November, after their chestnut festival, the sidewalks were rolled up. Only two restaurants were open, neither very good, although residents didn't seem to notice this and kept referring us to closed businesses. The b&b was off the main drag, down a steep hill. No heat by law until 11/15, and nights were in the 40's. Only got afternoon sun. Breakfast consisted of cold dishes except for coffee. Beautiful views, and good hiking, though.

Don't forget: the housekeeper is also a botanical guide and perfect connoisseur of the territory and local handcrafts. He will advice you where to go for a daily trip or where doing shopping or eating in one of the very good restaurants of the area. If required he will accompany you to discover this Sardinian magic corner.
