Excellent location and superb service

Location: Great! About a 15-minute walk from the charming downtown of Bressanone and a short drive from some of the most scenic areas of the Dolomites (e.g. Val di Funes).
Staff: Superb! Highly professional and courteous. Sasha, the bartender, deserves particular mention--extremely attentive, generous, and accommodating.
Hotel amenities: Excellent. Use of the hotels bicycles--for free--was a particular pleasure. Breakfast on the outdoor patio was very pleasant.
If there are are two very small downside to the property it is the lack of air conditioning, which was mildly uncomfortable on one night, and the small, crowded parking lot.

Good hotel that can improve!

We started off a bit poorly with the room offered and the cost that was quoted to me; fortunately, my room was changed, but it was still small (I travel with a small elderly dog, and they charge for this type of dog as well). All the rooms lack air conditioning, and when I was there, it was already quite warm, but at least at night, it was still bearable sleeping with the window open... I can only imagine these days; the owner told me that they would install it soon!
The four stars are for the cleanliness and kindness of all the staff, breakfast was average, the croissants and bread were good, but the savory items were all low-quality products!
The owner gave me a great discount, considering the shortcomings.

Unplanned yet very pleasant stay

The reason for my stay here might have been less fun (car crash) but the stay itself was really great. The man who towed my car recommended this place and called the owner, who picked me up at the depot where my car was left.
The friendliness of the owners and the staff was amazing, the room was really clean with a nice bed and bedding. They offer a breakfast bar with some really nice items. The placement of the hotel is quite perfect, on the edge of the newer part of town and close to the historic part of Bressanone. The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking and cycling.
I don’t know what I would have done without the cares of the hotel owners and staff, they made a horrible situation very bearable.
Would recommend!

My reference to Brixen

The hotel is very clean, the rooms with wooden furniture. My bathroom was large and equipped with the necessary, and the room also had a balcony with table and chairs. Those were days with very high temperatures, but Mr. Markus, the owner, was very kind in getting me a fan immediately. The breakfast room, a bit dated but large, well maintained and comfortable, also has a small outdoor area that allows you to have breakfast in the green. There is a great choice of sweet and savoury, breads, cakes and jams made locally, with fresh produce, including fresh fruit salad, much appreciated. The hotel is well served by a bus that connects to the center, with a stop a few meters away, and the reservation includes the Brixen card, which gives free access to public transport. I had a problem with the receipt (I was in Brixen for work), but it was enough to phone and Mr. Markus immediately solved it, with great kindness towards me.
