The location can't be beat. The entire staff is super nice and helpful. Very accommodating! The room was comfortable, the beds are hard but overall we slept great. Would definitely come back here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with beautiful lake views and easy walking distance to restaurants, cafés and the lakeside promenade. The air conditioning worked very well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reasons we gave four instead of five stars were that there is no lift, making it difficult to carry luggage up two relatively steep and narrow flights of stairs, and that the breakfast, while good, could have offered a wider selection. Other than those two points, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Not Worth the Price, dated and lacking.

Rooms small and dated, lacking in basic facilities at this high price, no coffee machine in room or fridge. Views at back of hotel onto laneway for high price.
Breakfast basic, awkward set up and layout with steps, service of coffee is good, they have a great roof terrace which should be used for breakfast but is now closed off until night.
Had dinner in the restaurant once which was not good quality, did not bother going back. Very few Italians working at the Hotel, seems to lack genuine atmosphere.
This place not worth the price of star rating.

We had a nice stay, the room was spacious with nice views of the castle and surrounding countryside. Food was good.

We stayed here in May. Great location close to the lake, many restaurants, and ferry service. The room was ok. Nothing great.
Our stay was pleasant until checkout morning, when we experienced a serious safety issue. Our room door could only be unlocked with a key from both the inside and outside—there was no interior thumb-turn or other exit hardware. After working normally for two days, the key suddenly stopped working, leaving us unable to get out of the room.
We tried calling the office and messaging through the booking app but received no response. The room’s windows had security bars, leaving only a very small bathroom window as a possible exit. I ultimately had to climb out the bathroom window and go across the street to the office to get help.
Thankfully, no emergency was occurring at the time, but being trapped in a hotel room with no reliable means of exit was frightening. We hope the lock has been repaired and that the hotel addresses this issue so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
