clean and convenient B&B
When we were looking for accomodation in Gallipoli we were first focusing on the old town. But since it was very short term we couldn't find anything suitable there and then picked Suite del Mare. The B&B is located in the newer part of town, which turned out to be just perfect for us.
Why perfect? The property is in a very lively neighbourhood, only 50 metres from Corso Roma, the main street leading into the old town. Lots of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants on Corso Roma which cater to the Italian clientele and are much less touristy than the ones in the old town. The old town can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, an nice walk with lots of things to see on the way there.
Also, parking was not a problem around the B&B with plenty of free parking spots available on the street (there are also paid parking spots, marked by blue lines).
The B&B itself is located in a large appartment within a several story building from the 60s or 70s. It had only recently opened when we checked in, our room was newly renovated, very clean, with a spacious bathroom - perfect. It was good to have AC available as it got really hot, but we mainly put it on when we were out, as the AC was directly facing the bed. There is also a balcony with a small table and two chairs, and even a washing line is provided to dry towels. The room had a TV, never switched it on so I don't know what channels it has, and a minibar fridge.
Strong and stable wifi signal in the room.
Breakfast is taken in a Café at the corner of the same building. Very nice to have your coffee and pastry while you can sit in their outside seating. It was a good café, Cioccolat Italiani, with very friendly staff.
As with many B&Bs, our room was not serviced during our three day stay, which was not a problem.
I can definately recommend to stay at Suite del Mare.
Tip: It is a good idea to proactively contact the B&B regarding your arrival time. There is no manned reception there, so the owners will meet you at the B&B at the appointed time. As I don't speak Italian communication went through google translate :-) Lovely owners that really were concerned to make our stay a good one.

Sono stata l'estate scorsa in questo b&b con delle amiche, diciamo che ci siamo trovate abbastanza bene, a parte qualche problema con la doccia che si allagava. La struttura è praticamente in centro, però per raggiungere la parte storica di Gallipoli bisogna fare una passeggiata di 20 min!

Il B&B non ha nulla da invidiare ad un hotel 3 stelle, all'inizio ero titubante al pernotto in questa struttura, ma mi sono ricreduto fortemente! B&B di ottima qualità, la stanza era enorme, il bagno provvisto di tutti i servizi essenziali, il letto e il quantitativo di prese elettriche è risultato essere molto soddisfacente. In pi la stanza nella quale ho soggiornato aveva un balcone molto ampio e attrezzato di standino er bucato. Struttura meravigliosa!

Una settimana perfetta!
Un b&b situato praticamente sul corso principale di Gallipoli a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Pulizia impeccabile , stanze confortevoli e ottima la colazione convenzionata con il bar giù . Proprietari disponibili e gentili, struttura davvero consigliata per una bella vacanza a Gallipoli.

Tutto perfetto.. la doccia il pezzo forte!
Abbiamo pernottato con fidanzato e amica per 2 notti! Situato nel cuore di Gallipoli. Posizione perfetta! Camere pulitissime e arredamenti nuovi.. la colazione è con dei ticket da spendere nel bar sotto dove quindi non ci sono limiti di orari per farla..caffè e cornetto! Ottimi.. la doccia con la musica all interno dopo una giornata di mare e una vacanza in compagnia era il massimo! Prezzi della camera davvero modesti dato che eravamo nella prima metà di agosto! Consigliatissimo!
