An enchantment
Really gorgeous place! Relaxing and cared for in detail. The only advice I would give is to put blackout curtains in the room. Very accurate also the breakfast in which it is both sweet and savory. Absolutely recommended!

Unbelievable rudeness. To be avoided
Extremely negative experience. The managers proved rude and aggressive, even going so far as to shout at us for having a simple aperitif by the pool. Despite having stayed in the past and used the fridge without any problems, this time we were verbally attacked just for putting a couple of bottles in the cool. The rules are unclear and instead of being explained, we were treated to unacceptable shouting and tones. The pool area is also neglected: the fridge is full of half-opened bottles and there was even a burst bottle in the freezer. Such a Welcoming is totally out of place. We will never return and strongly advise against staying, especially to those looking for a relaxing and civilized environment.

vedo con stupore che state proseguendo la vostra “campagna recensioni”, cambiando piattaforme e raccontando una versione dei fatti quanto meno parziale, quando non completamente falsa. È curioso però che nessuno di voi si firmi con nome e cognome, mentre al momento del check-in avete consegnato i vostri documenti. Forse pensate che la privacy valga solo per voi, ma non per chi vi ha accolto. forse avete paura che altri host non vi faccano entrare nelle loro strutture? E si sconsiglio vivamente ad altri B&B di farvi entrare!
Sulla vostra recensione, siamo costretti a intervenire con fermezza: quella che definite un “semplice aperitivo” si è tradotta in un utilizzo scorretto e irrispettoso dell’area piscina, dove avete pranzato, cenato, cucinato una pastasciutta, consumato bevande e lasciato bottiglie sparse, stoviglie sporche e rifiuti ovunque. Tutto documentato con fotografie. Non solo: siete entrati senza autorizzazione in un’area privata chiusa a chiave – riservata al personale – per utilizzare un frigorifero non a disposizione degli ospiti. Questo è un comportamento gravissimo.
Vi era stato più volte spiegato, in modo scritto e verbale, che non disponiamo di cucina per gli ospiti e che i pasti devono essere consumati all’esterno. Il nostro è un bed and breakfast, e non una casa vacanze o un locale privato da gestire a proprio piacimento.
Quanto all’orario del check-in e all’eventuale estensione dell’uso della piscina, era stata offerta una possibilità – a pagamento – che avete deliberatamente ignorato. L’intenzione era chiara: sfruttare al massimo la struttura pagando il minimo, infischiandovene delle regole e del rispetto verso chi vi ospita.
Che siate arrivati a far perdere la pazienza a due persone di oltre settant’anni, tanto da renderle costrette a minacciarvi di chiamare i Carabinieri per far cessare il vostro comportamento maleducato e invadente, la dice lunga su chi siete. Questo, più di ogni parola, definisce la realtà: non siete stati ospiti, ma una presenza sgradevole e fuori luogo.
Infine, sulla presunta “trascuratezza” della zona piscina: strano che abbiate passato lì quasi tutta la giornata, fino a notte fonda, se davvero fosse stata così inaccogliente. Le vostre parole appaiono dunque come un tentativo di screditare la struttura solo per vendetta, dopo che vi è stato chiesto – con toni comprensibilmente accesi – di rispettare regole basilari.
Concludiamo con una sola nota: sì, ci auguriamo davvero che non torniate. E sconsigliamo anche noi la nostra struttura a chi, come voi, non conosce il significato di educazione, rispetto e convivenza civile.

Disappointing experience, would not recommend
Disappointing experience, would not recommend.
We stayed in 8 people, renting all three rooms (revenants from a previous positive experience two years ago), with the idea of relaxing and enjoying the pool. Unfortunately we were greeted with little professionalism and little courtesy.
Check-in is only from 14:00, a rather late time that effectively wastes half a day: a no small detail for those planning a full weekend.
The most serious problem, however, concerns the management of the pool. We were never informed that after 18:00 it was no longer possible to use it. One of us had even asked the owner directly if there were any limits, but no problem was raised. The owners passed several times by the pool while we were there, without making any observations.
The next day, however, we were told – without any warning or clear explanation – that we would have to pay a supplement for staying in the pool. And to make matters worse, we were scolded in heated tones for what had happened the day before, despite not having caused any disturbance. We were quiet, engaged in board games, simply taking advantage of the table, refrigerator, beds and bathroom. That is a very unacceptable attitude.
Opening a B&B also means knowing how to communicate rules and limits in a transparent way: it is not acceptable to expect guests to guess them.
Moreover, considering that the swimming pool is the main attraction of the structure, I find it absurd that – against an already high cost for the rooms – an extra fee is required to use it, which is never specified in advance.
A real shame: the place would have potential, but the attitude of the managers compromised the whole experience. We're not coming back.

ci aspettavamo la vostra recensione, considerando il comportamento tenuto durante il soggiorno. Purtroppo, ciò che avete scritto è una versione comoda e molto parziale dei fatti.
Partiamo dal check-in: l’orario dalle 14:00 è chiaramente comunicato prima della prenotazione. È lo standard in quasi tutte le strutture ricettive e serve a garantire una corretta pulizia e sanificazione, per rispetto degli ospiti in arrivo. Sostenere che “fa perdere mezza giornata” è un’accusa infondata e volutamente distorta.
Sulla questione piscina: vi è stato chiaramente detto per iscritto che il giorno della partenza era possibile trattenersi oltre l’orario del check-out solo pagando un supplemento. Non solo avete ignorato questa regola, ma avete prolungato la permanenza nell’area piscina fino a notte fonda, disturbando la quiete della struttura e comportandovi come se aveste affittato l’intera proprietà.
La vostra definizione di “tranquilli e impegnati in giochi da tavolo” non tiene conto del fatto che avete anche cucinato pasti completi, utilizzato frigoriferi riservati al personale, lasciato disordine e rifiuti in un’area comune e violato locali chiusi a chiave. Questo non è semplice uso degli spazi, è abuso deliberato.
Quando vi è stato fatto notare – con toni inevitabilmente accesi, vista la vostra arroganza – che stavate infrangendo più regole e creando disagi, avete reagito con sarcasmo e mancanza di rispetto verso persone molto più grandi di voi. È grave che sia stato necessario arrivare a minacciare l’intervento delle forze dell’ordine per ottenere un comportamento minimamente civile.
È evidente che siete tornati nella nostra struttura con l’idea di “fare come vi pare”, sfruttando una formula bed & breakfast per trasformarla in una location privata. Peccato che da noi, come in qualsiasi struttura rispettosa, ci siano regole, orari e limiti, e soprattutto si richieda educazione.
Inoltre, se c’è qualcosa di davvero inaccettabile, è che siano stati due settantenni a dovervi fermare e riportare al rispetto. Qui non si tratta più di un soggiorno deludente, ma di un gruppo di ospiti che ha superato ogni limite di convivenza civile.
È curioso però che nessuno di voi si firmi con nome e cognome, mentre al momento del check-in avete consegnato i vostri documenti. Forse pensate che la privacy valga solo per voi, ma non per chi vi ha accolto. O forse temete che altri host leggano come vi siete comportati e vi neghino l’ingresso? Needed a pole to pole vault into the bed.
The courtyard, lobby and breakfast room are very well done in a French style and the breakfast was very good. The staff was wonderful. The lady who checked us in helped carry our luggage upstairs. We stayed in a double queen room on the 2nd floor, which was a good size and had fluffy bathrobes. The room was dark, though, and not so "French" feeling. My only big complaint was the beds. Although comfortable, the bed was so high off the floor it was impossible for me to get into as I'm 5'2" and the bed came up to my chest. (I'm 72 so agility is an issue for me) I've seen these super high beds in other places and if this is a trend it needs to disappear. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

Cozy home away from home
My wife and I spent a very pleasant weekend in Piemonte (visiting our daughter who lives there).
We found the B&B Le Soleil through a computer search.
The location was convenient for us, the photos of the exterior and the rooms looked attractive and a question about accessibility for disabled guests was answered kindly and positively.
So there we went.
When we arrived we found a *very* nice setting, with a sheep idly looking at us while we parked.
The room was just perfect for us. (For me: a bit too warm for my taste; for my wife: perfect temperature). Easy access to the large bathroom and in general plenty of space.
We also liked the nice touch of the several scented candles (however, a lamp on the bedside stand on my side would have helped my (bad) habit of night reading in bed).
The place is very quiet and we woke up much later than our usual rise time; I am ashamed to admit that we slept until 9:30, just in time for the excellent breakfast that was served in the adjacent room.
In addition to the usual breakfast goodies, I enjoyed the very good coffee, and also the "gianduiotto" chocolate candy, typical of Torino.
We will return ...
