Hotel I Ginepri is located on a hill overlooking Lake Simbirizzi and the Gulf of Cagliari. Rooms have air conditioning and offer panoramic views. I Ginepri's restaurant serves characteristic Sardinian dishes. There is a playground in the private garden. The hotel offers free parking, suitable also for buses. Cagliari Elmas Airport is a 20-minute drive from I Ginepri Hotel. Poetto Beach is 7.5 mi away.

The perfect wedding
We got married at I Ginepri on June 20, 2026, and to say that everything went for the best is an understatement.
Rosalba (the owner) was fundamental in the organization of the reception.
Her advice (on music, flowers, the menu, etc.) was never intrusive, but always precise, punctual, motivated, and useful in making our evening practically perfect.
Location theme.
Large, spacious, and elegant room. Every table had been set up with care, precision, and attention to leaving the right amount of space for diners and dishes.
Let's move on to the food and drink.
Everything was delicious and very appreciated by the guests, in the right quantities, but those who wanted to overindulge found plenty to satisfy them.
Special mention for food allergies, handled table by table in an impeccable and professional manner.
We chose a land and sea menu with appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, a side dish, fruit, and wedding cake. We should open a chapter for every course, but we will stop only at the cake (the house specialty), which was a great success among all the guests... bride and groom included!
Let's talk about the timing now.
Rosalba, with her long experience in organizing weddings, set the timing perfectly: the serving of the various courses was always precise, the breaks were at the right time, when to have the toast and cut the cake, right down to setting the time for the end of the party.
I was honestly perplexed about the end time of the reception, but with hindsight, I can say that Rosalba was right about this too.
We are happy to state that out of 95 guests, no one complained and that we could not have chosen a better restaurant to make Our Evening magical.
We absolutely must say: THANK YOU ROSALBA and the entire restaurant staff!
Last but not least, a big THANK YOU to ENRICA (owner of the hotel associated with the facility) for the welcome and hospitality reserved for our loved ones who arrived from outside Sardinia! They could not have found a better place to spend their little vacation.

It deserves the 4*
He deserves the 4* only for the Welcoming that all the staff gives you, especially Mrs. Rosalba and her daughter Enrica. Family-run hotel, located in a very quiet area and in a good position to reach the best beaches in the area, on-site swimming pool with sun loungers, ample parking for cars, very large rooms and cleanliness at the top, restaurant with many rooms with excellent dishes and abundant, excellent location for weddings, birthdays etc.

BEAUTIFUL! But watch out for mosquitoes!
We stayed at this hotel for 6 days.
POSITION
The hotel is located near the highway 125, and despite the proximity to this road the area of the hotel is very quiet and peaceful.
LOCATION
The location is very large, surrounded by greenery and kept pretty well. The biggest problem is mosquitoes. This place is so surrounded by greenery that there are so many, and very easily ruin your stay in this place. The staff in any case does everything possible to solve this problem, providing pimpons and other mosquito-related things.
ROOMS
The rooms are a bit old-style but nice, clean and equipped with all amenities (including air conditioning). You can't open the window because otherwise 500 mosquitoes come in and you don't sleep.
SERVICES AND PERSONNEL
The staff is super mega friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is pretty slow. Attached to the hotel there is also the restaurant (you pay separately compared to the room) of which I will do a separate review. Very nice swimming pool.
Breakfast did not particularly satisfy me but it is still enough.
Despite the mosquito problem, I absolutely recommend this hotel. To find such a beautiful place is rare. We will be back for sure.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! JULY 2025
We stayed for a week with my husband, we had a great time. Rooms very spacious, clean, fridge, air conditioning. Comfortable beds. All have a balcony with drying rack. Good sweet and savoury breakfast. Many beautiful also the pool surrounded by greenery, like the rest of the structure.
We also took advantage of the hotel restaurant, great both Service and cuisine! Typical, traditional and classic dishes. The owner Enrica, for the hotel really available to listen to the needs of the customer! Convenient location to get to both Cagliari, and the various beaches in the area and not. Highly recommended

How to get home
We were here for dinner on Monday to celebrate my mother-in-law's eightieth birthday and as always we had a great time, but more. The reception of Rosalba is always the top and even the waiter who followed us has always been attentive and very nice. On the food, nothing to say, is always a guarantee and not for nothing 14 years ago we chose to have our wedding reception here. Simple and traditional dishes, but tasty and plentiful. The price absolutely appropriate to the quality. For us Ginepri is always synonymous with home and the security of being pampered and eating well
