Sleeping in Venice
Very good location, although a labyrinth to get to. Large room, but the double room has 35-inch beds. Average breakfast, little variety. The dining room is very small. Staff is good and friendly.

Dream trip, dream hotel
This stop in Venice was part of my dream Italy trip and let me just say Dua Palace hotel was very dreamy as well. It centrally located. It was right around the corner we found out by accident lol From Piazza San Marco, which was also magical because it was nighttime and there was live music playing and singing, and needless to say very No complaints at all about this hotel. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was so pretty the wallpaper was a fleur de lis that my greatgrandmother had in her house so it was special and reminded me that she’s always with me. Definitely recommend.

4-star location, but management and Deluxe room totally inadequate
We stayed at this property attracted by the 4 stars and the location, which is actually perfect: just a 5-minute walk from St. Mark's Square. Unfortunately, however, the service and guest management proved to be definitely not up to par, considering how much we paid.
We booked a Deluxe Room with a view of the Canal, paying a premium for it. As soon as we entered, seeing the condition of the room, we immediately called the front desk to see if they were sure about the assignment and if that was really the room we paid for; we were told yes. Although the room itself was quite spacious (20 square meters), the attention to detail was nonexistent: cobwebs in the corners and hair in the bathtub upon our arrival.
The bathroom was a nightmare of about 4 square meters: so cramped that you had to sit sideways on the toilet because laterally, having the wall attached to the toilet, there was no room for your legs. The bathtub had the faucet attached to the shower rail, a configuration of centimeters that forced you to constantly bang your knees. In general, the fixtures and accessories were completely ruined. Furthermore, the air conditioner in the room had pieces hanging off, and during the days of our stay, no one felt the need to fix it.
That same evening we went down to speak in person with a guy at the front desk, Marco. We explained to him how much we had spent and that that accommodation on the first floor did not seem like a Deluxe at all. He appeared sorry, assuring us that the next day he would evaluate a move to a more adequate and nicer room.
The next day, however, the surprise: when we crossed paths, he acted as if nothing had happened, limiting himself to a "good morning and good evening" as if the conversation from the night before had never taken place. This attitude, which repeated itself for the following days, proved to be truly unprofessional. It's a shame, because the location is worth it, but the maintenance of the facility and the consideration for the customer were totally absent. We will not return.

A Wonderful 3-Night Stay in the Heart of Venice”
We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Duodo Palace. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a canal view, and the room was fantastic — spacious, comfortable and full of Venetian charm.
The view was a real highlight, with regular gondolas passing by on the canal, making it feel like a true Venice experience. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, which was perfect after long days exploring the city.
The hotel was peaceful, well located and a wonderful base for our trip. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a charming Venetian stay.
The view was a real highlight, with regular gondolas passing by on the canal, making it feel like a true Venice experience. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, which was perfect after long days exploring the city.
