Located in Mahibadhoo, Dhamana Beach is on the beach. Dhangethi Port and Maafushivaru Island Jetty are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Bikini Beach and Dhangethi Beach. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including a rainfall showerhead and free WiFi, as well as cable TV and a bidet. Other amenities include laundry facilities, a hair dryer, towels, and a picnic area.

Quiet guest house, private sunrise beach, gourmet chef who serves up delicious dishes, and large, quiet rooms
My first time on Mahibadhoo, stayed at Dhamana Beach guest house and I’m loving it! I’ve stayed at luxurious resorts like Lily Beach and Mirihi as well as other local islands, but if you are looking for a laidback, friendly and affordable chill Maldives holiday, try a local island like Mahibadhoo. Dhamana blew me away with their hospitality, delicious 3-course meals served right by their beach, large comfortable rooms with ocean views to kill for, and such easy access to everywhere on the island!
Coming from Singapore, a comfortable boat ride less than 2-hr from Male airport brought me to the island, where I was picked up by the guest house’s buggy. My room was on the second floor with a private balcony and expanse views of their private groomed beach. Bedroom is large with a large bathroom attached. Bed is so comfy I slept like a log the 2 nights I was there. Such a steal and incredible value!
This guest house’s private beach has amazing sunrise views as well! For my last night’s dinner, Yousef the chef served up curries, roshi, salad and soup with beautiful romantic lighting by the tree and table, I wished I came with my boyfriend! It’s really great value and I actually think the meals are tastier than fancy dinners served up at luxurious resorts, without having to spend hundreds just on food. Can’t beat the fact that you have a stretch of beach all to yourself with no charge, no need to pay beach dining premium rates!
The exterior and rooms are kept immaculately clean. Free flow drinking water, tea and coffee are complimentary. There’s an area for washing and drying of snorkel/dive gear. The elevated alfresco dining room (if you’re sick of the beach!) is airy and overlooks the garden and beach, and my host Enzo checks in on us frequently to make sure we are taken good care of.
Having visited other guesthouses on the island during my stay, the uniqueness of Dhamana is the openness, the inner garden and private beach here. But above everything was the genuine hospitality, smiles and care by owner Enzo and staff, I felt right at home!
A special shout-out to Hassan from Dive Maldives Laobi who planned my nurse shark snorkeling and island tour! Looking forward to coming back for scuba dives either Hassan around the many amazing sites so close to this island, I’ll be back!

Toppers it is it was fantastic on the beach
It is a beautiful paradise on the beach the guys who work there really do everything you want and the room is so nice and big and very clean we give dhamana beach an 11 and you can also book all kinds of excursions there that you can book a day toppers thanks for the beautiful experience of a local island

Little gem found
It was my first time on Mahibadoo and I found Dhamana Beach to be the best location on the island! The small hotel/guest house is beautifully situated on the west side of the island! No houses block the view, one step out of the door and you're on the beach! The whole property has obviously been designed with love. A lot of thought has gone into how things are laid out, the courtyard is planted and the many other little details, such as the tables that are designed with underwater motifs, the painted walls in the lobby and the swings and hand-painted signs on the beach that make it feel like a tiki bar.
The island is a bit quieter, but a very lively Maldivian community and has beautiful colorful painted houses with old wooden doors.
But the absolute best thing is the unique atmosphere and hospitality created by all the guys who take care of every detail of your vacation! It starts with being picked up by the crew at the harbor in a tuk-tuk and then sitting in the back to see the village! Bikini Beach is about a 5 minute walk away! There are many excursions, snorkeling, exploring uninhabited islands, sunset with dolphins, sunset fishing, and so on that you will never get bored! Please don't miss out on visiting the accommodation and your every wish will be catered for!

The value you get for your money when you stay at Dhamana Beach is unmatched in every sense of the way. You obviously should not expect a five star experience on this budget but what you get when you choose Dhamana is actually far more than we expected in this price range. The value is incredible. Especially the crew make this place what it is. They stopped at nothing to make sure we had the best stay possible and even agreed to customize one of their excursions quite a lot to make sure it aligned with our wishes. They offer great activites at a decent price while also being able to arrange a boat taxi to a nearby Island of your choice on request which makes it possible to visit other parts of the atoll of your chosing. The crew at Dhamana are truly lovely people and what you get here are in some ways more than you’d get at that five star hotel.

Paradise Found
Very beautiful location on a lovely island, spacious and comfortable rooms with breakfast directly on the beach, with the friendliest and most attentive staff that organizes excursions and snorkeling trips - surely the best place to stay on Mahibadhoo.
