Beautiful place, safe and close to the center.

Personally the pink color of Casa Rosamate is much more charming. The house looks like a hidden oasis in the center of Oaxaca.
Security frees our entrance to a large courtyard and parking. The whole common area is open-air and richly decorated, very inviting. In this courtyard there is also a beautiful pool.
The accommodation is spacious and fine decorated, has all the items that made our accommodation very comfortable. It has spacious bathroom, excellent shower, special amenities, firm and large bed, excellent bed linen and bathroom, air-conditioned, fridge bar, large cabinet.
Night safety also deserves recognition for attentive care.
Apart from the care of the landscape, Casa Rosamate is distinguished by its perfect location, a few steps from Calle Macedonio Alcalá, the Tourist Walker in the Center and the Zócalo, and the neighborhoods of Jalatlaco and Xochimilco. We did all the walk from Casa Rosamate.
Our stay was of high level. Thank you very much for a perfect experience.

Magic Day

The stay in Rosamate was exceptional. Despite its very affordable cost, the facilities are top notch and the place is beautiful. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms stand out for their comfort; they are designed with attention to detail, offering spacious and comfortable beds, as well as cosy decor that invites you to rest. Without a doubt, it is an excellent choice for those looking for quality and comfort without spending too much.

It’s a beautiful place… Close to the centro of Oaxaca. The room is very clean, they clean the room every day. I really enjoyed my time spending there.

Excellent option near the center

It seems unfair to me that this place does not have more opinions on this platform, which would surely be positive. I definitely recommend this place for the following: 1. From the beginning, I appreciate the attention of Luis, who resolved my doubts and allowed payment for the stay with a credit card, for which we coordinated: I emphasize this aspect because in other cases places just stay with "it can't be done." 2. When you arrive, remember that it is a house, not a hotel as such, so the access does not have a flashy sign or something similar. Probably the best reference is that it is the property next to the Fogoncito, following the circulation of the avenue. 3. The comfort of the room, as well as the quality of the linens and amenities, is worth highlighting. We stayed in rooms number 1 and 2, each with a small terrace, and they are located on the ground floor, in case mobility is an aspect to consider. Given the Airbnb format, there is a small common area with a sink and a microwave: we did not use them, but it should be taken into account in case someone requires them. 4. We also wish to acknowledge the kindness of the staff at the venue, particularly Diego and Alejandro, who were on the lookout for our access in an agile manner. 5. The common space, which is located between the avenue and the rooms, is a great place to relax, especially the hammock area. Although it might be thought that being on an avenue with traffic, as it goes towards the center, the place would be very noisy, it actually manages to isolate the noise in the rooms very well, so rest is assured.
Regarding eating options, the place has a small cafeteria that can get you out of trouble. I confess that we did not try it, since being close to the center, with a short walk you will realize that it is very difficult not to find somewhere that does not attract your attention for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The location is excellent.
Finally, as a recommendation/suggestion for the house, it is advisable to install mosquito nets on the shower windows, so that they can remain open without problems and facilitate air flow.

Pink paradise

This little pink hotel in an absolute gem!!! Wonderful, relaxing courtyard, really comfortable beds, close enough to walk to everything but away from the crowds and the noise. I felt very secure and safe and the staff were really kind, friendly and helpful. It’s across the street from a lovely park and every kind of food you could ever want is within walking distance. Really pleased with my visit to Oaxaca and this lovely little retreat at Rosamate ❤️
