Average hotel and not that bad as other reviews

My family of 4 stayed there as part of wedding celebrations for 3 nights. I can’t say anything bad from the reception guys. They were all great - we met 2 men - both nice and friendly. The first one who was on day 1, was in his 40-50s and was great, then a younger chap who was very friendly too. The hotel needs renovation, it’s a 3 star hotel and it’s in an average state. The cleaning ladies were great too, they cleaned our apartment and changed the towels every day. Having a car park at the back of the hotel was very convenient as the spaces at front were limited. We tried the breakfast once, it cost us 30Lei per person, but it wasn’t worth it. Not much choice as just an egg omelette with salami, tomatoes, cucumbers and a slice of cheddar, however it did the work as it was early and we didn’t want to waste time searching for bakery around. There was a noise from the events hall, but we were too tired to be bothered. All in all, it was an average hotel and not that bad as other people describe it. For a small town like Caracal, this is a good selection as not much choice, so it was ok for a weekend.

Terrible service, terrible food

If you are going to Caracal, DON`T ever stay at Romula Imperial. The rooms are ok, but they have no pattern at all and the beds are extremely uncomfortable.
The people that work there are really unsympathetic (except for one receptionist guy and cleaning ladies), they don't make an effort to help you. Even the workers that are building the new 6th floor (I really don't know how that's possible since the hotel is terrible) practically harassed one of my friends with disgusting looks and sayings in Romanian.
The internet was awful and the only place we could have wi-fi was at the reception. But one day we were there and the receptionist guy (not the nice one) started shouting at us and practically expelled us from there.
The food was the worst, even the typical Romanian plates were not supposed to be the way they were served (that was said by the other Romanians there) and they didn't care at all for the vegetarians.

Mean people, bad service

I don't recommend to stay in Caracal in the first place but if you are going to stay, stay in another hotel. People working there are very, very mean (except for one receptionist guy and cleaning ladies). Woman with silver/blond hair looked at us really mean and basically threw a garbage can at us while we were smoking outside and we weren't making a mess or anyting.
The rooms are OK but the beds are realy uncomfortable, The internet was really bad, we basically didn't have internet or reaaalllyyy slow one.
Food were terrible. We told them to please make the portions bigger and be careful with the vegetarian food but they simply didn't care. I don't recommend this hotel at all.
