Nice and relaxing
The hotel also offers a games room and a tennis court.
I hope to return to McPietroasa again.

nice stay
- very good location, forest is just behind the hotel and you can easily go hiking
- friendly staff
- big rooms, sound proof
- pet friendly
- good parking
CON's:
- awful tv signal
- very, very poor wi-fi connection
- almost no signal on orange provider, and zero on vodafone
- high restaurant prices, poor food selection, pancake takes more than an hour to be ready
- Huge wine prices, e.g. a wine bottle is around 90 EUR while at Complex Turistic Magura, the sane bottle is 90 LEI !!
TIP's:
you should come in summertime or when it snows

Our kind of city escape
We chose this location because we wanted a few days in the mountains , but quietly and without staying for hours in the crowds of the Prahova Valley (being from Bucharest).
Everything was above our expectations, starting with the location (in the middle of the forest, isolated from other properties), the beautiful garden , the food and the staff ♀️ (extremely friendly).
A big plus for cleanliness!
We can't wait to come back!
P.S. There is also a swimming pool ♀️ in the garden which will work during the summer, according to the staff. We promise we won't miss it! ⛱
P.S.2. If you are here, don't forget to take a break at the Muddy Volcanoes - UNIQUE nature reserve in Europe

Beautiful scenery
The room was comfortable, nor very spacious but clean and well equipped.
The breakfast was good with decent quality products.
The positives:

very nice and helpful staff
good food
decent internet right in the middle of nowhere
nice pool area & children playground
The negatives:
the pool isn't heated, so the water gets pretty cold
on the weekend, the pool can get very crowded and dirty as is not for guests only
high prices at the pool bar (one re-frosted Top Gun ice cream was 18 lei)
not a lot of options in the menu
it gets boring after a few days
All in all a nice experience, but I don't know if I will revisit.
