Gravel bike through Burgos

Gravel bike weekend with friends in the province of Burgos. Linking the greenways of Sierra de la Demanda and Santander-Mediterraneo. Stop in Hortigüela at Hostal La Moruga. Eat and sleep at a great price. They treated us wonderfully (they even kept our bikes safe). Good food and classic breakfast. Let's hope we get back!

Small charming hotel located in a Spanish village, with a warm and very helpful Welcoming. It would be a good idea to offer a Service in French or English for visiting tourists. The meals are hearty, tasty and offered at a very reasonable price. The room has excellent bedding and a functional bathroom. Only small downside: in high heat (30 ° C during our stay), the absence of air conditioning or fan is felt. And as an aperitif, we particularly enjoyed the excellent sangria!

We ate in the restaurant and very good treatment and attention. Especially with intolerances, our daughter is celiac and they were very concerned to adapt things so that she could eat.
Very good food. We will definitely repeat.

We went to spend three days to get to know the surrounding towns because we love the tranquility and relaxation of being in nature and we loved this hotel because it is simple, comfortable and you relive if you have grown up in the summer in the town with your grandparents as is my case

Une première en Auberge nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience, aucun service hôtelier requis dans cet établissement !
Chambre très petite pour un couple et une adolescente plus un chien (berger australien).
La propreté laisse à désirer même s'il y a eu un passage de femme de chambre pour 2 nuitées.
Le lit d'une personne pour une ado pas du tout confortable et une chaleur abominable car pas de grande aération une toute petite fenêtre.
Service restauration très chère pour un repas du soir et speed et les petits déjeuners, juste un café ou chocolat, jus de fruit 1 jour sur 2, 3 tartines pour 3 et madeleine artificielle.
Nous avons été extrêmement déçus malgré la gentillesse du propriétaire.
Seul point positif, l'acceptation des animaux.
