Very happy with the stay
My husband and I were there from July 27 to 29, it is a very cozy inn and very well located, about 2.5 km from Santillana del Mar and close to the Altamira caves, in a very quiet area, the room had what was necessary although it would have been nice if the minibar were inside some furniture to dampen the noise and if there were a blackout curtain instead of a shade that gets in the way of opening the window, the breakfast is excellent, much better than some 3 or 4-star hotels, the person in charge of breakfast was very nice and attentive, replenishing items when needed, I want to send a very big greeting to María, the receptionist, she was very nice and very pleasant at all times, from here I send you a big greeting María!!!!!! I will definitely recommend you.

Nice experience
Lovely place, cared for and very clean.
There are details that could be improved:
The hydro tub plug has no handle.
Renovation of televisions with platforms.
The vending machine is not working.
Very small pool.
No lights on the terraces.
Things to improve, but overall well.
Varied and rich buffet breakfast.

It's a shame.
It is a shame that, a place that could be perfect, neglects customer service.
The inn has a great charm, with good facilities. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and every day we found on the beds some nice details (jelly beans, jam kits, candy canes).
It had an electric fireplace that gave it a more welcoming touch.
However, the curtains and the fridge were lacking good cleaning and the lid of the toilet danced, things with very easy solution that make a difference.
We asked for a room with a hot tub but we would not do it again because it is very small even for one.
The worst part is the breakfast buffet. The first day was well stocked: variety of breads, fruit, avocado, smoked salmon, cold meat, tortilla, bacon, pastries.... The second day he was beginning to look thawed, with what remained of the previous day.
The last day has been embarrassing. There was no buffet anymore, the remains of the previous day were placed directly on the tables: the bread and pastries that remained were dry, there was no fruit anymore, except some oranges and apples with hearth tucked into glass vases for days, no tortilla, no salmon, no avocado ...
It was clearly the remains of the previous days.
I can understand that they are holidays and that there may be a low influx but the quality of service must be maintained because the customer has paid for it. I understand that they do not put tortilla, bacon... in the buffet but it would be very simple to ask the customer if he wants tortilla or some eggs and make them in the moment. If the number of guests staying is low to set up the buffet, a more personalized and careful attention would be appreciated. There was no one in the breakfast room.
Or, failing that, it is also lawful to close. But if it is in operation, it must offer a quality service.

Quiet inn
It is a beautiful inn, very comfortable bed and pillows too, super friendly receptionist and breakfast buffet quite good and varied , have little things that we liked, the room smelled a lot of air freshener, but a lot , we had to leave the windows open to remove the smell that became annoying, details like broken curtains , bathroom plug did not work (there is a hairdryer, but if you want to shave with machine for example? or a hair iron) we put the jacuzzi and came out squirt. The inn quite quiet, we did not listen to the neighbors, there are also no shutters and light enters .

Uneducated tenants on the top floor
We stayed in the Morocco themed room, everything great, the cleanliness, the hydromassage... everything to the minimum detail and nice, soft bed and very comfortable as a negative data I will say the wake I had because of the tenants of the room upstairs who got with the hydromassage at 2 in the morning and what happened after....more than 2 hours bothering
Polite people will be everywhere....
