Felt like at home

I had a lovely stay at Hostal Domus Viatoris. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and appear to be recently renovated, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. The location is excellent, especially for pilgrims and travelers looking for convenience and ease.
The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and presented with great care. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared.
What truly stood out to me, however, was Ana at the front desk. Her kindness and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond—helping me with my luggage and making sure I felt welcome. I have some dietary needs, and she took the time to coordinate with the chef to ensure I had the best possible options.
As a pilgrim, her care meant so much. She did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and supported, and thanks to her, I truly felt at home.
I highly recommend Hostal Domus Viatoris to anyone looking for a place where comfort meets exceptional human warmth.

For a short overnight stay it fit

I had one night there, rooms were big with two single beds small TV and bathroom with shower, was OK for me.
There was in the evening for 17 euros a 3 course menu, you could choose over as from 3 dishes, I liked it.
Great I could park my motorcycle inside where it was locked down at night.

Staff are excellent, Sohagun winner

This little place just outside of Sohagun was excellent. We visited as part of the El Camino. The staff were so thoughtful, friendly and extremely helpful. They even helped my partner organise a bottle of wine for me waiting in the room when I arrived! Tidy, clean and very close to town.

Simple accommodation without frills

The hostel is a little outside the city. The town is within walking distance. The rooms are simply furnished. Storage space is available. Rooms with shower. Unfortunately, some of these are very dirty.
Breakfast is offered. There was a plate with 2 pieces of bread, a little jam, some ham and cheese and an orange juice. Coffee was served later.

Ask for a menu to verify pricing before ordering the pilgrim lunch here

We had the Pilgrim Lunch on Friday, which included a bottle of white wine, which was ordered off of the lunch menu. The next day the hostess took our Pilgrim Lunch order (taken without showing us a menu), with only 2 glasses of white wine included, and she up-charged us 10 Euros extra when we paid.
