Gran view

Nice staff, super busy and quite close together which also has its charms. Different levels because the campsite is on a mountain. Beach is a nice descent and another climb up. Super nice though. sanitary good. All in all beautiful views, not too expensive and dogs are free. We enjoyed at least 2 days.

Great location, very busy!

We love this region and were excited to discover this campsite, which offered an affordable way to explore with our two young children (3.5 and 18 months). We were happy to find the site had good facilities, including a bar on site that did ok food and an Eroski. Facilities were clean and cleaners were often present, and the showers were hot. Despite the site being so busy, we didn't have to queue for a shower. Staff were friendly and helpful enough.
The site is at the top of a steep hill so it's probably not realistic to venture to the beach or Zarautz on foot with young children.
Like others have mentioned, it is tight. We were very close to our neighbours, with one set encroaching on our small pitch with their caravan. We pitched up on gravel, which quickly filled the inside of the tent. We paid extra for electricity so we could charge our phones, then felt a bit stupid to see others with fridges, charging their cars, etc etc... we definitely overpaid for that!
We took our dog and there were lots of others with dogs too. Some people left theirs off lead, and one let itself into our tent and attacked our dog. Staff didn't seem bothered about this.
We booked a sea view pitch and the view was really lovely. However I think we shot ourselves in the foot as there may have been other areas of the camp with more families with young children where we would've fit in better. Our neighbours took issue with our children waking up at 7am as they wanted to stay up very late and lie in, and we felt so awful about it we ended up leaving after night 2 (we were booked for 8). Very sad for our 3 year old who had been looking forward to this trip, but we didn't want to spend our hard earned holiday having beef with the people staying several feet from us. We were grateful that staff were understanding regarding the invoice.
Overall, it is good as far as campsites go, and the location is really good. It's just very busy and cramped, so you might have to deal with all that comes with that.

Fixed behavior when canceling

Been outside busy season with caravan. Campsite nowhere near full. Had to leave early due to circumstances, eventually stayed 2 of the 4 booked nights. Refund of the payment was not possible. A credit voucher we could get. Disappointing.
Sanitary is fine, restaurant is more of a canteen. Pool is not available. The sea is really not doable because of the huge height difference camping- beach.

Very beautiful and relaxing.

The area is nice and well-maintained, although the spaces are quite close together.
We had spot 26 A, and the van just fit in the space.
Nevertheless, it is very quiet at night.
By 12:00 AM, all surfers are in their campers.
The beach is very beautiful, the path has been described often enough - but it is manageable (I am 59 and normally fit).
Just the beach bar is worth the descent☺️

Of high quality

The morning waitress, the one who lives in Orio, is very attentive and of high quality, from the people of Alicante (a real gem).

Very good location
