Great breakfast
Great pool and sauna
Our deluxe room was ok, but the sofa bed is horrible to sleep in, wafer thin mattress and you feel all the springs in the sofa!
The cleaning can be stepped up, the bathroom was under par and the two chairs under the TV were full of stains!

Hotel room without beds at least 90 cm width and no AC will not be a first class hotel!!
The Kitchen should achieve a more professional level.Not acceptable today.

I spend at least 50 nights a year in hotel rooms and apart from a Malpensa airport hotel Strømstad Spa takes the bottom in 2026
Price is higher end and facilities and service are seriously not up to standard.
Unless they change approach to the key revenue driver (customers paying to stay) will be going down
I cannot recommend this hotel

An adult hotel
I was here with my daughter for 8 years. When we booked, I booked for an adult and a child, and put in a two-hour stay at the SPA in the afternoon. Then I found out that children only had access to the SPA in the morning between 9-11. It is at the same time as breakfast... This, in addition to the bullshit in the hallway between 03-05 at night that woke us both several times made me think that if I'm going back here, then I'm leaving without children! Thinking that you had been served by being honest that this is a place best suited for adults, fair enough. And then it's definitely great!

Poor food experience
We had no access to any kind of kitchen equipment. There was a capsule machine, but they didn't work.
There were two glasses in the rooms, but they weren't clean.
The restaurant was a very bad experience. Especially the buffer on Saturday. There was little choice. The salmon and scampie were overboiled and went into solution. You advertised with rich selection and delicious desserts. The selection was not abundant and the dessert consisted of dried cake bits. At a price of 695,- is this too bad!!!
