A Dreamy Vacation
We stayed at Hotel Vera in Bodrum from 6 to 13 July 2025 and were very pleased with everything! The hotel''s location was great - tranquil yet the center and view were truly amazing. While we just got accommodations, nothing was missing.
We especially appreciate Ozzy and Kaan – they were always friendly, helpful and attentive. That made our vacation even better.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The ambience was extremely enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

Very bad experience, disappointment!
Very bad experience at this hotel. First of all, we arrived very late in the evening (1am-2am), there are stairs to climb to access the hotel, which made things complicated but it seems to me that in many hotels there is no elevator so no worries. There was a dog barking while we were going upstairs and it was not reassuring at all, so I asked my friend to call someone from the hotel. When she started walking, the dog stood next to her suitcase and started urinating on it. It is unacceptable to have a dog in a 4-star establishment that does not stand and that, in addition, urinates on the suitcase. My friend had to throw away a personal property that was very important to her, we made the remark at the reception and they only told us that it is not usual for the dog and that it does not do this, so make us understand that we are lying? Besides, the hotel has a swimming pool that also looks unhygienic, since the dog drank water from the pool. Secondly, our room was not worthy of a 4-star hotel regarding hygiene. There were hair and traces on the bed, hair in the tap... There was also no safe and no phone to call the reception. Cleaning and towel change Service is available on request every two days. We informed the hotel and the only possibility was to change the sheets of the room which we accepted as it was the only option. The reception manager tried to find a solution and helped his colleague change the sheets. After the change of sheet, we always noticed hair in the tap and some details, so it was complicated to stay in a room as such and we went back to see the reception. The reception manager informed us that we had to wait until tomorrow, which we can understand but when we went down to the reception, the team was around a table with rakı and we found it very shocking and not at all reassuring, I do not know if it is common for hotel employees to drink alcohol while on Service but it surprised us. The manager wanted to talk to us and listen to us, which is nice but unfortunately we did not have time as we had come to spend a relaxing holiday. Finally, we decided to shorten our stay and when we did the check-out, the receptionist informed us that we had some drinks to pay for when we had not taken anything, except a bottle of water that the reception manager offered us when we arrived and there was the problem. So the manager informed us that we had had two beers and a Coke, we were outraged and overwhelmed knowing that we had consumed absolutely nothing and knowing all the previous events and that again we were experiencing a problem. The manager looked at the cameras but obviously found nothing since we had not taken anything! We know we insisted very much that the room was very problematic, but it was legitimate and we had decided to adapt and manage, we asked for no refund and no discount and nothing was offered to us except a drink from the manager. We did not feel safe at all and not in the comfort we expected. Too bad for this experience as the hotel has potential and is well located, 20 minutes from the beach and shops.

Dubious and unfriendly
Yeah, don't go. The website said that you
can cancel free of charge 24 hours before. I'm afraid not. After we wanted to cancel 2 days before, it was said that it is not possible, and on the phone staff was also very unfriendly. I'm afraid dubious.

Vera Hotel was representative of a typical three-star experience. The standout was definitely the receptionist—he was very friendly and accommodating, which really made our stay more comfortable. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. While the hotel overall could benefit from some upgrades and repairs in certain areas, it still served its purpose well. Breakfast was fine, and the location is excellent—just a short walk to the city center. A solid option if you’re looking for convenience and good service on a reasonable budget.
