Great for lunch and dogs are welcome!

We visited for lunch today. Everything on the menu was so very tempting….we felt spoilt for choice.
We chose the lobster roll with chips and corn on the cob. It was delicious .
The drinks were served from bottles which we both like.
The atmosphere in this busy hotel was great.
It’s worth mentioning dogs are welcome.
I really recommend this hotel and hope to visit again sometime.
PS the only odd thing is the two toilets in the ladies loo. I just locked the door and all was good.

Best booking-in experience.

Hotel Hebrides is a very bright and clean hotel in Tarbet with wonderful rooms with all amenities. The best thing was my booking-in process and the staff-member at the front desk.
Travelling with my cousin who has a nervous-disease disorder, (PD), he needed to rest urgently to minimise his symptoms. Usually, I do not bother inquiring about early check-ins - as often I feel asking for an early check -in results in being treated as a second-class citizen, or that they are doing you a favour, or that you are from a leper colony. (Like recently in Glasgow).
But today I did ask. And we were a long time before 3pm!
I was greeted by Bella at the front desk and I explained my predicament to her. She got right on board with solving my problem; very professional, helpful, and kind. And very soon my ill cousin got into his room to rest.
I travel to Scotland every year from Australia to visit family; I shall definitely return to Hotel Hebrides next time I am in the Outer Hebrides. Good one Hotel Hebrides employing people like Bella.

Basil Faulty on a Bad Day

Lovely food. We had pizza which was delicious.
We both felt the staff were 'off.' They were racing around walking like Basil Faulty on a bad day, paying lots of attention to people that were coming in, and not much to the people that were already there. Unfriendly and stressy. We felt as if we were being troublesome for standing at the bar waiting to pay our bill. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

A must visit when in Tarbert

Had a lovely drink in the bar, very comfy chairs, nicely decorated and good service. Then moved to the restaurant which is bright, airy and very nicely done out. Service again was very good and the food options have a very local flavour. I had fish and chips and it was excellent. The other's in the party had a range of food options including dessert and there were lots of compliments.
Definitely worth a visit when in Tarbert
