Excellent service from valet parking to reception, very friendly, they supported us with information and made us feel special and at home.

Cash theft from the room safe
I stayed at the Fiesta Inn Mérida in February. I kept cash in the room safe and upon checking out I detected that it was missing. I reported the case immediately and followed up for more than six weeks with different areas of the hotel and with the Grupo Posadas corporate office.
The hotel itself gave me the electronic access log to the room, which shows several entries by staff, including two with a master key at 10:35 and 10:59 a.m. on the day of my departure, after my check-out (9:05 a.m.). When I asked to know which employee made those accesses—information that the hotel confirmed having documented—they told me that they could not share it due to privacy policies, and that it is only delivered if formally requested by the authority.
When reviewing reviews of this hotel on other platforms, I found that I am not the only case: there are guests who report having been victims of theft inside their room. I share my experience so that other travelers take it into account when choosing where to stay and do not leave cash or valuables in the room, not even in the safe.

Terrible service.
Personally, I would always stay at this hotel; however, on this visit, I found nails in the guest room from previous guests, a dirty floor, cockroaches in the bathroom, and I felt like they were doing me a "favor" by changing my room. I forgot a dermatological treatment in the bathroom, and when I returned 2 hours after checking out, it was easy to say, "the housekeeper didn't find anything," implying that I am a lying guest. The "manager on duty" is not trained to handle these situations on weekends. I felt like I was in a small hotel in the city with no hygiene, quality, or guest service.

Room never got cold , never felt welcomed, seen a bug in the room , but I know it’s not the associates fault , it’s management.

Lack of quality
Unfortunately, the service I provide the hotel was very poor, I present many things that should not present a hotel like this. I believe that before accepting a reservation and selecting the room that will be awarded you must go through a quality control. Which in the room that I was granted was gone. It was in bad condition and dirty, plus they left us without water for a whole day without giving us notice that there would be no water in the hotel.
