Good Location for a Cairns Stay

Great location to be able to walk everywhere in Cairns. I was impressed how close everything was. I had a private room which was decent and ok for a few nights. It was very loud as fas as a hostel goes so bring earplugs. I never had breakfast or used any of the facilities!

We're sorry to hear that noise affected your experience. As a hostel, there can be times when shared spaces are busier, but we do have a quiet hours policy from 10pm to 8am. Guests are always welcome to let our reception team know if they're being disturbed so we can address the situation as quickly as possible. There is always a staff member onsite overnight, so if reception is closed, guests can simply press the intercom at the front entrance or call our YHA Cairns Central phone number for assistance. We also have complimentary earplugs available from reception for anyone who would like a little extra help getting a good night's sleep.

Room was basic but clean. Yha sydney is a lot nicer. I had a twin ensuite which had towels and body wash included. There are no lifts so I had to carry luggage up the stairs. There's not enough staff so it takes a while to check in and check out
