The APX Darling Harbour is in an excellent location. Just step out the door and you are in Chinatown with lots of great restaurants to choose from. It’s also just a short walk to most of the main attractions including Darling Harbour itself and the new entertainment centre, our main reason for staying there. Central Station and the light rail are easily accessible too.
The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, although the TV could be a little bigger and the couch was a bit old. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Curtain hooks were worn and torn as damaged. We asked spared pillows and none was given. The spares blanket given in the wardrobe was dirty like unwashed with hairs and stains on it.

Terrible customer service at front desk. The room had a cockcroach smell and when I went to put my shoes on, there were 2 roaches in there.

Woken up at 6am by a residents dog persistently barking. It’s on level 4. So ask to not be put on level 4

Great location, shame about the room

Whilst the location is excellent, the room we had was a disappointment. Advertised as 4star, hardly a 3star. The tiles in the kitchen were filthy, as was the broken down sofa, which was also torn. Tracks for wardrobe doors were filthy. No luggage racks provided. The tabletop out on the patio was bent, and there were cigarette butts everywhere. Staff were not overly friendly.
