Una sosta e via

Una bella sorpesa questo piccolo e nascosto ostello vicino alla spiaggia di Varna. Molto economico pero pulito . La stanza era abbastanza grande ( eravamo due e c'erano tre letti). Wifi e aria condizionata inclusi nel prezzo. Bagno in comune. La ragazza che ci ha accolto parla poco inglese però abbastanza per capirsi. Possibilità di lavarsi da soli i vestiti. Insomma tutto il necessario per una sosta sul mar nero. Ideale per viaggiatori low cost. Se questa opinione vi è stata utile schiacciate SI in fondo al testo, grazie mille. Diego.

Clean accommodation on a nice leafy street

We initially had a problem getting into the building as there is only someone working during certain hours of the day. Fortunately it was a beautiful day and we were able to walk around for a few hours until someone arrived. It obviously would have been nicer if we hadn't had to wheel our carry on luggage around town.
This is not your typical hostel as there is no kitchen or anywhere to prepare a meal or snack but it is a good place to stay for a night. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable enough and a kettle was provided. There were only 4 rooms on our floor, with a common area (new laminate flooring, couch, houseplants and tv) in the middle. The shared bathroom was just off the common area and although it was clean, it had the Bulgarian shower and a sink that leaked horribly all over the floor, creating dangerous puddles.
There is a garden area outside with a swinging seat and apple trees. The location is great and a short walk to everything. A key is provided in order to lock the outside gate whenever you come and go. I would stay again for one night but would suggest adding a coffee maker in the rooms since there is nowhere to make a coffee or prepare a snack.

They refused to open for us

Notice that the reception is open only 13-19. We arrived at 20 and they just said they wouldn't open and so we couldn't stay there and we got no refund...so we can't really say much about the actual accomodation.

Downstairs rooms seem fine, but upstairs is not at all fine

The lady at reception would have been happier if I had left immediately to find a better room , but at 18:30 it was not worth the effort. Upstairs room was hot , stuffy and dark under an exceptionally low sloping ceiling. But air con was good and effective, bathrooms clean and there is a small area to sit outside. The next day , I met some guests who had a booking but staff member was no longer answering the phone, they scurried away when I described the upstairs accomodation option. Good central quiet location.

très bon rapport qualité prix

Hostel situé dans une rue calme, ce qui n'est pas négligeable lorsque voit la circulation et l'agitation de la ville. Proche du centre ville et du front de mer. Accueil sympathique et en anglais. Nous avions une chambre à trois lits. Elle était spacieuse avec climatisation, ce qui est appréciable au mois d'aout. toilettes et douche commune dans la meme pièce et manquant un peu d'espace. Ne soyez pas étonnés car il y a beaucoup d'hotels ainsi en Bulgarie. Très bon rapport qualité prix (4 nuits pour 108 euros). Il y wifi dans la chambre. Un petit jardinet extérieur pour se prélasser
