Cloud Brocade Space Capsule Hostel About Us We started this hostel to meet the real needs of young travelers: affordable, clean, and safe accommodation. Unlike traditional hostels, we are fully approved by the public security, fire control, and health authorities. Our building has passed structural safety inspections, and every guest is covered by accommodation insurance. Your safety and hygiene are our top priorities. Location & Directions Address: Inside the alley next to Changshui Experimental Middle School, Xiangyuan Street, Chenggong District, Kunming (Alley entrance has a repair shop; walk 20 meters inside. There is a national flag at our door.) From Kunming South Railway Station to Hostel (on foot) 1. Exit the station and turn left to the West Square (back to “Kunming South Railway Station” sign) 2. Walk straight about 400 meters, turn right at the second traffic light 3. Walk about 100 meters, turn left at the third traffic light 4. Continue about 300 meters past Yixintang Pharmacy and bus stop 5. Turn into the alley with the repair shop, walk 20 meters to Cloud Brocade If you can’t find us, just call the owner. Don’t worry alone — traveling should be happy. To Kunming South Railway Station (departure) Walk 20 meters to Xiangyuan Street → turn left ~300 meters → turn right at first light → walk ~200 meters, turn left to West Square. To Metro Line 4 & Shopping Area Walk 20 meters to Xiangyuan Street → turn right ~200 meters → turn left at light for Metro Line 4 (toward Dounan Flower Market). Continue straight through the tunnel ~800 meters to Jiamei Commercial Plaza and University Town Night Market. Volunteer Recruitment We welcome long-term volunteers (minimum 7 days) in exchange for free room and board. Contact the owner for details. A Message From the Owner I’m not here to compete with anyone, but if you have any problems during your trip, just tell me — I will help as much as I can. Traveling is not easy for anyone. I’m not perfect. I get tired, sometimes I can’t serve everyone well. This is a small hostel, not a big hotel. We work very hard during peak season and struggle even to cover rent in low season.
