The hotel was good, but location is not... We wished we picked another hotel, but only based on location. It did not feel safe walking around in the Omonia area, especially at night, so we had to book taxis to get around.
The hotel in itself was exactly what we had hoped for - good price, nice staff, very clean and the aircondition worked wonders. Just sad with the area surrounding it.

The area is not the best.

The hotel is in a logistically strategic area, even if it is not the best area. In the evening, you can hardly walk around, and since there is no restaurant service, you have to go out and travel to find a little restaurant. The staff is very kind and the room for four people is spacious but does not offer a double bed. Breakfast is not very well-stocked and there is no coffee, because the machine cannot load water (a real problem throughout Athens). Overall we had a good time, even if I would not return.

The hotel was good no complaints. However the breakfast buffet was mediocre. Also no views from the hotel room which i guess has to do with where it was constructed. Okay hotel.

An excellent base for visiting Athens

We stayed at this hotel for a few days and the experience was overall very positive.
The room was spotless, fragrant, and equipped with all the necessary comforts: comfortable bed, refrigerator, safe, and private bathroom with shower. As is normal in Greece, there is no bidet and toilet paper must be thrown in the appropriate bin instead of in the toilet.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and you can contact them directly from the room by dialing 9. All the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and smiling.
On the top floor, there is a beautiful, fully glass-enclosed rooftop bar with a spectacular view of the city. Even though breakfast was not included in our reservation, we decided to try it by paying €8 per person and we were really satisfied: rich buffet, good and fresh products. A special thanks to the lady at the bar, who was really nice and welcoming.
The hotel also allows you to receive orders via Wolt directly at the property, a very convenient service. Furthermore, there is a restaurant on the ground floor.
The location is excellent for visiting Athens: the main attractions are easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. The only less positive aspect concerns the surrounding neighborhood. Being close to Omonia, some streets give a feeling of insecurity, especially in the evening hours, due to the presence of people in an obvious state of distress. I therefore recommend taking the main streets, for example by leaving the hotel and turning left towards the square with the church, avoiding the side alleys.
Overall, it was a truly pleasant stay. If you are looking for a modern, clean facility with excellent staff and great value for money, the Dunlin Hotel is definitely a choice I recommend.

Great place, super clean everywhere. A bit small rooms but perfect for people who just need to sleep.
Decent breakfast.
Friendly staff, willing to help
