Highly recommend

Good place, very helpful staff, hostel is situated near the railway and bus station, and not far from historical center. Everything was perfect. The staff allowed us to leave our bags at the reception after check out, so we could freely walk along the city and then return to go to bus station.

Good location

The location is good since it is close to the center, you can walk to the center and there are restaurants and a shopping center nearby.
It is also worth noting that there is parking next to the building that does not entail an additional cost and that you have the possibility of using the shared kitchen, which has a dishwasher, kitchenware, a large refrigerator, and a small fridge in the room.
Everything else, I thought could be improved.
The check-in was done in a different building, being able to access it with a padlock code on it.
There were several things with faults or lack of cleanliness: the fridge was leaking and had food from previous guests, the shower faucet was leaking, and blinds were missing.
The mattresses were not comfortable at all.

Not good

We were given an old caravan to stay in. It was tiny, old and dirty. Gdansk is a great city and the location was good but this place was disgusting. The carpet was rotten. You couldn't fit a suitcase in the rooms. You couldn't stand in the shower as it was too small. If you tried you could rip the outside door open so I didnnt want to leave valuables in the room. Everything seemed to be broken like the bedroom doors. The Hotel Filip bar seemed to attract drunks.

Friendly family hostel

We stayed for three nights at the hostel and were very pleased. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean and very close to the central station and the Solidarity monument. The breakfasts were nice too. Perhaps one or two more lamps would make the rooms even better, but that was the only problem.

Non consiglio, non vale i soldi spesi

Ostello veramente caro per quello che offre. La recepción non è h24 e il personale è un barista che è simpatico ma purtroppo parla solo polacco. Non era neanche molto pulito, c'erano ragni in camera, bagno maleodorante e asciugamani un po' così... caffè e the gratis e belle aree comuni ma il resto lo boccio.
