The must-visit in Trondheim

The welcome starts with the valet, which sets the tone
Professional and friendly welcome at the lobby before going up to a room
Spacious room blending the charm of the old (moldings, high ceilings...) with modern tones and cutting-edge technology
TV screen integrated behind the full-height mirror in the room, digital control panel for the room's lighting ambiance...)
The bedding is both soft and offers excellent support
Bathroom with double vanity, which is becoming a rare commodity
The icing on the cake is a very pleasant spa with a heated pool (30/32 degrees) for swimming and another smaller one at 37 degrees under a starry sky with unique acoustics for relaxing, saunas, steam room...
Too bad we had to leave so early the next morning...

A luxury in northern Norway

5-star hotel. I always say that if we compare it with hotels in Spain we win by a landslide, but this hotel deserves the 5 *. Cozy, clean, decent breakfast, and very good service from the staff. Privileged location. From the hotel you can easily access all the sites. We have been here for 4 days and we have enjoyed it.
I will surely return to Trondheim, so I will return to this hotel.
Special mention to the Portuguese girl (apologies but I don't know her name) who served us at breakfast, very kind and helping at all times.

This is truly a beautiful hotel. Appointments are exquisite and the staff is the most friendly and helpful I have encountered in years. Room was very nice with incredible extra touches such as heated floor in the bathroom. I cannot recommend Britannia highly enough.

Great stay at Brittania, loved the hotel and the Speilsalen restaurant. Nice location for city walks.

High-quality Christmas

That was a slowing Christmas! We felt very comfortable in this stylish hotel. The suite had two bathrooms, one with large shower, the other with tub, each with two sinks. There was also a sitting area with dressing table, hairdryer and straightener. The desk was big enough to be able to do some work if needed. The sitting area with two armchairs and a sofa was cozy, only the small table could have been a little bigger. The tranquility in the suite was just awesome, no sound was heard from the outside, which was very relaxing.
An absolute highlight was the wellness area with very high-quality changing rooms and showers of the highest class. The pool and jacuzzi had a starry sky with northern lights and there were plenty of loungers and day beds. Several saunas, steam baths, an ice fountain and a plunge pool were also available.
The breakfast was Nordic inspired and offered typical food, I found the selection very successful.
It remains to mention the staff who get a special praise for their warm cheerfulness and charming nature!
