Our property is a typical Japanese house in a small town in Nagano Prefecture Japan It is an oldstyle guesthouse with a host It is surrounded by nature but you can go to shops and restaurants by car It is a great place to experience Japanese rural life and access nearby tourist spots Matsumoto Castle Kiso Naraijuku etc Recommended seasonal spots include the cherry blossoms at Takato Castle Park in Ina City in spring the Firefly Festival in Tatsuno Town in early summer and the 10000 autumn leaves in Minowa Town in autumn We live with two cats one dog six chickens and also tend to our vegetable garden
